Tutkin improvisaatioharjoituksen ohjaustilannetta lukion äidinkielen ja kirjallisuuden oppitunnilla. Tarkastelun kohteena ovat opettajan kielelliset ohjailevat vuorot sekä se, miten opettaja osallistaa ja siirtää toimijuutta opiskelijoille. Tutkimus antaa tärkeää tietoa improvisaation ohjaamiseen liittyen. Ohjaamisen tapoja on useita ja niistä tietoiseksi tuleminen edesauttaa tarkoituksenmukaisen opetuksen ja ohjaamisen suunnittelua. Varsinkin ilmaisutaidon ohjaamiseen liittyy paljon vastuuta. Communication, mind, and culture : a model of conversation meaning

This dissertation is a theoretical study of conversation meaning. The aim was to build a comprehensive theory of conversation meaning on the basis of the theories of cultural schemas, distributed cognition, and neural networks. The philosophical tradition of transcendental realism was introduced, and a metaphysical analysis of culture was presented. It was concluded that culture belongs to the realm of mind, and culture and society were strictly distinguished. Killerin liikuntakeskuksen asiakkaiden oman taustan yhteys heidän arvioihinsa hyvästä ryhmäliikunnanohjaajasta

Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää hyvän ryhmäliikunnanohjaajan ominai-suuksia Killerin liikuntakeskuksen asiakkaiden mielestä sekä asiakkaan oman taustan yhteyttä hyvän ryhmäliikunnanohjaajan ominaisuuksien arvioimiseen. Tutkimukseen osallistui 186 Killerin liikuntakeskuksen ryhmäliikunta- asiakasta. Vastaajien keski-ikä oli 34.8 vuotta. Suurin osa vastaajista (89 %) harrasti ryhmäliikuntaa 1 – 4 kertaa vii-kossa ja suurin osa asiakkaista (53%) oli harrastanut ryhmäliikuntaa yli 2 vuotta. Taxonomy is a knowledge management tool that presents useful information in a well-ordered structure prevents overloading of information on its access and making the information access qualitative. This article is concerned with automatically extracting asymmetrical hierarchical relations from a large corpus and subsequent taxonomy construction by domain independent and semi-supervised system. The purpose of this study has been to identify and analyse obstacles embedded in the school organisation that impede organisational development and improvement. The general findings show that the school structure comprised sub-groups and had characteristics of a diversified organisation. This led to dysfunctional discussions that challenged school development and improvement. Understanding teachers’ mental models of collaboration to enhance the learning community

This study examined representations of Finnish basic education teachers’ mental models of collaboration to reveal the background features that enable or hinder changes in a school community and teacher collaboration. In this case study, we explored 41 teachers’ mental models of collaboration in a one-school community to identify and understand the features that enhance or challenge collaboration. The findings raise the question of how collaboration can support a school’s transition to a unified comprehensive school, when teachers are accustomed to working alone with a strong sense of autonomy and diverse mental models of collaboration.
