Diffusion of Drone Journalism: the Case of Finland, 2011-2020

This article details Finnish news organizations’ adoption of drones for journalistic purposes from 2011 to 2020. The theoretical starting point of the article is Rogers’ (1962) diffusion of innovations theory, which explains how new ideas and technologies spread in societies. The main empirical data for the study were derived from a phone survey conducted among the 80 most popular newspapers in Finland. The findings reveal that drone journalism in Finland has already diffused from a few pioneering organizations to a large number of newsrooms, including regional, mid-sized newspapers. Patogeny roślin, takie jak Fusarium spp. to najważniejsze czynniki, które co roku powodują znaczne straty i/lub uszkodzenia produktów rolnych. Celem przeprowadzonych badań była ocena in vitro właściwości biologicznych B. amyloliquefaciens wobec F. proliferatum i F. oxysporum wyizolowanych z pędów bielonego szparaga odmiany Grolim. W badaniach uwzględniono: gęstość i wiek hodowli bakterii, rodzaj podłoża oraz wpływ płynu pohodowlanego. Latvijas Universitātes (LU) studentiem bieži rodas jautājumi vai neskaidrības par kādas situācijas risināšanu, kas tiek uzdoti LU forumā. Bakalaura darbā ir veikta šādu studējošo jautājumu dabiskās valodas analīze un to pielietojuma iespējas jautājumu un atbilžu sistēmas izveidē. Darbā tiek veikta atšķirīgu datu apjoma izmaiņu metožu salīdzināšana un pielietošanas ieguvuma izvērtēšana, veicot studējošo jautājumu mērķa noteikšanas moduļa izveidi. Darbā veikta studējošo jautājumu reprezentācijas izveide izmantojot vārdu maisa metodi, BERT un FastText modeļus, veikta mērķa klasifikācija, sasniedzot 86% precizitāti mērķa noteikšanā četrām dažādām jautājumu kategorijām.

The Sapiehas and the Potockis were amongst the most influential families of the Polish‑Lithuanian Commonwealth. The latter family owned numerous estates in Ukraine, which were directly under threat from marching Lithuanian soldiers. Kazimierz Jan Sapieha, Grand Hetman of Lithuania was in charge of the said estates. Due to cooperation of the two magnate families, he attempted to shield the Potockis’ estates and possessions from Lithuanian troops marching to or returning from the war with Turkey. First principles calculations of SrZrO3 bulk and ZrO2-terminated (001) surface F centers

Abstract Using a supercell model and B3PW hybrid exchange-correlation functional in the framework of the density functional theory (DFT), as it is implemented in the CRYSTAL computer code, we performed ab initio calculations for the F -center located in the SrZrO 3 bulk and on the ZrO 2 -terminated (001) surface. According to the results of performed relaxation of atoms around the defect, two nearest Zr and four Sr atoms are repulsed, but all oxygen atoms are attracted towards both, the bulk and (001) surface F -center. Abstract In 1648, an uprising broke out in Ukraine that belonged to Poland at the time. The war was not successful for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Cossacks and Tartars, who were helping them during the war, surrounded Zbaraż, about whose defense everyone knew in the country. King Jan Kazimierz decided to set out to rescue the besieged fortress. It was decided that not only Polish troops, but also soldiers of Lithuania would set out for Ukraine.
