Tutkielmassa tarkastellaan aikuissosiaalityötä ammatillisen koulutuksen suorittaneiden kanssa. Tutkielman näkökulmana on kriittinen realismi, jossa tarkasteltava ilmiö nähdään syntyvän yhteiskunnan poliittis-ideologisen muutoksen myötä, joka korostaa uusliberalistisia arvoja, koulutuskuria sekä työmarkkinoiden edellyttämän mielenlaadun omaksumista. Se tuottaa ennakoimattoman ilmiön, jossa ammatillisesta koulusta valmistuu nuoria, joilla ei ole työmarkkinoiden edellyttämää mielenlaatua tai riittävää ammattitaitoa eikä siksi ole edellytyksiä työllistyä omalle alalle. Abstract Background Breeding site choice constitutes an important part of the species niche. Nest predation affects breeding site choice, and has been suggested to drive niche segregation and local coexistence of species. Interspecific social information use may, in turn, result in copying or rejection of heterospecific niche characteristics and thus affect realized niche overlap between species. : The Virgin Hodegetria, located in the Cathedral of Santa Maria Nuova in Monreale, near Palermo (Italy), probably dating the first half of the 13th century, is one of the earliest examples of medieval panel painting in Sicily. Realization of time-resolved two-vacuum-ultraviolet-photon ionization

International audience; Ultrafast dynamics of excited molecules is studied through time-resolved two-vacuum-ultraviolet (vuv)- photon ionization using a nonlinear volume autocorrelator unit. The two-vuv-photon process is induced by the intense fifth harmonic radiation of a femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser. In a proof-of-principle experiment, ultrafast dynamics of excited ethylene and oxygen molecules are investigated. Molecular decay times are deduced by comparing the experimental data with the results of a numerical model that accounts for the spatial and temporal characteristics of the harmonic field. Band Jahn-Teller type structural instabilities of cubic Mn(2)YZ Heusler compounds causing tetragonal distortions can be predicted by ab initio band-structure calculations. This allows for identification of new Heusler materials with tunable magnetic and structural properties that can satisfy the demands for spintronic applications, such as in spin-transfer torque-based devices.

Aims: To assess and compare the optical quality of the myopic and hyperopic implantable collamer lens (ICL) from its wavefront aberrations for different powers and pupil diameters.
