Real-Time Power Flow Monitoring and Control System for Microgrids Integration in Islanded Scenarios

This article presents an enhanced system for real-time power flow monitoring and control (PFMC) for microgrids integration in medium-voltage (MV) distribution networks. The developed solution includes both system architecture and the monitoring and control algorithms, and it has low implementation and installation costs. [EN] In the face of the social crisis of intimacy for the extimacy, in neurosciences, and its reduction to privacy in legal field, this article explains the orteguian idea of the intimacy highlighting its bodily character. This notion of intimacy, rooted in body, discovers the sentimental aspect of reality (lyricism), and also overcomes thingism and subjectivism through the analysis of the mechanism of metaphor and the capacity of entering yourself. Reality of intimacy is conceived as enforceability (executive reality), and represents an alternative to idealism, objetivism of conscience and psychological introspection.

Background Torquetenovirus (TTV) viremia is emerging as a promising tool to assess functional immune competence, to predict posttransplant immune-related complications, and eventually to customize immunosuppression. Methods In this study, 327 blood samples were tested using two real-time PCR (rtPCR) assays both targeted to the untranslated region of the TTV genome. The first assay was an in-house rtPCR developed by our group, the second one was the recently marketed TTV R-GENE assay. Many-particle dynamics of bosons and fermions in quasi-one-dimensional flat-band lattices

The difference between boson and fermion dynamics in quasi-one-dimensional lattices is studied by calculating the persistent current in small quantum rings and by exact simulations of the time evolution of the many-particle state in two cases: expansion of a localized cloud and collisions in a Newton’s cradle. We consider three different lattices which in the tight-binding model exhibit flat bands. The physical realization is considered to be an optical lattice with bosonic or fermionic atoms. The atoms are assumed to interact with a repulsive short-range interaction. The different statistics of bosons and fermions lead to different dynamics. Surface Acoustic Bloch Oscillations, the Wannier-Stark Ladder, and Landau-Zener Tunneling in a Solid

We present the experimental observation of Bloch oscillations, the Wannier-Stark ladder, and Landau-Zener tunneling of surface acoustic waves in perturbed grating structures on a solid substrate. A model providing a quantitative description of our experimental observations, including multiple Landau-Zener transitions of the anticrossed surface acoustic Wannier-Stark states, is developed. The use of a planar geometry for the realization of the Bloch oscillations and Landau-Zener tunneling allows a direct access to the elastic field distribution. The vertical surface displacement has been measured by interferometry.

No tinc la seguretat que l'expressió «filosofia analítica» siga un rètol adient per a cap tendència, mètode o escola de l'activitat filosòfica. En un sentit molt general i potser trivial, encara que no n'estic cert, la filosofia és, del seu origen ençà, anàlisi: anàlisi del pensar i de l'ésser, i de les condicions de l'un i de l'altre. Tanmateix, només al nostre segle s'ha etiquetat una manera de fer filosofia com a «filosofia analítica», per motius no gaire clars.
