Controlling the thermoelectric properties of polymers: application to PEDOT and polypyrrole

Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and polypyrrole (PPy) films have been prepared by an electrochemical method in a three electrode cell. The films have been obtained at different oxidation levels regarded as bipolaron, polaron and neutral states by varying the voltage, as is usually done in conjugated heterocyclic polymers. The voltage (-0.2V1.0 V) has been applied versus a Ag/AgCl reference electrode, producing a variation of one order of magnitude in the electrical conductivity and the Seebeck coefficient of the films. Abstract We addressed the neural organization of speech versus nonspeech sound processing by investigating preattentive cortical auditory processing of changes in five features of a consonant–vowel syllable (consonant, vowel, sound duration, frequency, and intensity) and their acoustically matched nonspeech counterparts in a simultaneous EEG–MEG recording of mismatch negativity (MMN/MMNm). Overall, speech–sound processing was enhanced compared to nonspeech sound processing. Sensitivity analysis of consumption cycles

We study the special case of a nonlinear stochastic consumption model taking the form of a 2-dimensional, non-invertible map with an additive stochastic component. Applying the concept of the stochastic sensitivity function and the related technique of confidence domains, we establish the conditions under which the system's complex consumption attractor is likely to become observable. It is shown that the level of noise intensities beyond which the complex consumption attractor is likely to be observed depends on the weight given to past consumption in an individual's preference adjustment.

Dado que el colectivo LGTBI (Lesbianas, gays, transexuales, bisexuales e intersexuales) lo consume más frecuentemente, el riesgo de adicción también podría ser mayor.
