Npl3 stabilizes R-loops at telomeres to prevent accelerated replicative senescence.

Abstract Telomere shortening rates must be regulated to prevent premature replicative senescence. TERRA R‐loops become stabilized at critically short telomeres to promote their elongation through homology‐directed repair (HDR), thereby counteracting senescence onset. Using a non‐bias proteomic approach to detect telomere binding factors, we identified Npl3, an RNA‐binding protein previously implicated in multiple RNA biogenesis processes. Using chromatin immunoprecipitation and RNA immunoprecipitation, we demonstrate that Npl3 interacts with TERRA and telomeres. In healthcare domain it can be useful to compare unstructured free-text clinical reports in order to enable the search for similar and/or relevant clinical cases. In data mining and text analysis tasks, the cosine similarity is usually used for texts comparison purposes. It is usually performed by computing the standard document vector cosine similarity between the two vectors representing the report pair under analysis. Autobiographical Memory, Personality, and Facebook Mementos

The present study analyzed the relationships between directive, self and social functions of autobiographical memory, personality traits, as defined by the Five Factor model, and the Facebook mementos. We defined Facebook mementos as objective measures of the textual (i.e., Facebook Status Updating) and visual (i.e., Photos uploading) information people record on their Facebook profiles. The title compound, C17H27O8P, was prepared by Michaelis–Arbuzov reaction of ethyl 2-bromo-2-(2,3,4-trimethoxyphenyl)acetate and triethyl phosphite. Such compounds rarely crystallize, but single crystals were recovered after the initial oil was left for approximately 10 years. The bond angle of thesp3-hybridized C atom connecting the benzene derivative with the phospho unit is widened marginally [112.5 (2)°]. The terminal P—O bond length of 1.464 (2) Å clearly indicates a double bond, whereas the two O atoms of the ethoxy groups connected to the phosphorous atom have bond lengths of 1.580 (2) Å and 1.581 (3) Å. The title polynuclear organometallic titanium(IV) oxide, [{Ti3(η5-C5Me5)3(μ-O)4}2(μ-O)], exhibits two Ti3O4 cores bridged by an O atom located on a twofold axis. All metal centers present the typical three-legged piano-stool coordination environment, where one site is occupied by a pentamethylcyclopentadienyl ligand linked in an η5-coordination fashion, while three bridging O atoms fill the other three sites.
Augstskolu gada pārskatu diahroniskā analīze

Komunikācija ir jebkuras organizācijas nozīmīga daļa, tai skaitā arī augstskolu. Valodas pielietojuma analīzes augstskolu diskursos līdz šim veiktas tikai mājaslapām un brošūrām; gadu pārskati nav pētīti. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt LU Attīstības stratēģijā (2015. – 2020.) norādīto septiņu vērtību atspoguļojumu 2018., 2019. un 2020. gada pārskatā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek izmantota integrējošā literatūras pārskatu metode un empīriskajā daļā tiek apspriesta pētījumā veiktā satura analīze. Analīzes rezultāti norāda, ka visos trīs pārskatos cilvēku un sadarbības vērtības ir ar lielāko leksisko vienību skaitu, no kā tiek secināts, ka tās ir visvairāk uzsvērtās.
