Dedicated to Saint Generosi and Saint Rosana, the reliquary arms, recalling the shape of a body part, are today located in the Relics Chapel in Palermo Cathedral. They are probably dated to the second half of the 18th century and are attributed to an unknown artist. Līdz šim ir veikts neliels skaits pētījumu par tulkošanas nozari, kuros pētīti tulkotāja profesijas sociālie aspekti, lai novērtētu profesijas statusu Latvijas darba tirgū. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir iegūt vispārēju informāciju par tulkotāja profesijas statusu Latvijā un noskaidrot, kādi ir tulkotāja profesijas statusu ietekmējošie faktori. Pētījuma ietvaros divu mēnešu ilgā periodā tika veikta anketēšana, lai noskaidrotu, vai tulkotāja profesija ir zema statusa profesija, kāds ir profesijas prestižs un to, kādi faktori ir ietekmējuši respondentu viedokli par tulkotāja profesijas statusu. W świetle koncepcji poznawczych istotną przyczyną problemów przystosowawczych są dezadaptacyjne zniekształcenia poznawcze, polegające na przypisywaniu swoim doświadczeniom znaczenia w sposób niedokładny lub skrzywiony. Identyfikacja zniekształceń poznawczych u jednostek nieprzystosowanych społecznie umożliwia wychowawcom resocjalizacyjnym rozpoznanie przyczyn ich problemów w procesie przystosowania się do warunków środowiskowych oraz zrozumienie specyfiki ich funkcjonowania społecznego. Jednocześnie pozwala na dostosowanie metod oddziaływania resocjalizującego do popełnianych zniekształceń.

Este trabalho examina os dispositivos linguísticos por meio dos quais Ésquilo conseguiu apresentar as personagens femininas da Oresteia. A análise é feita após um levantamento das seções recitativas de três tragédias; características fonéticas, morfológicas e sintáticas foram estudadas e comparadas com a linguagem dos personagens masculinos. Grain Composition and Functional Ingredients of Barley Varieties Created in Latvia

Abstract Cereals, including barley, have been recognised as functional foods that provide beneficial effect on the health of the consumer and decrease the risk of various diseases. The aim of investigation was to determine the grain composition of barley varieties and perspective breeding lines bred in Latvia and to evaluate its functional ingredients. The results of analysis showed that protein content among varieties ranged from 106.6-146.8 g·kg-1, total dietary fibre 187.4-208.2 g·kg-1, β-glucans 42.8 g-49.4 g·kg-1, and amount of α-tocopherol 6.03-8.93 mg·kg-1.
