Positive Motivation of the Employees – One of the Organizations’ Extremely Important Aspects

A current and important issue, on which depends the success of the companies, is the problem of effective motivation. The specialized literature it is very generous in approaching the concept of motivation, due to its major role in meeting the organization’s objectives. The effects of organizational motivation are and will remain particularly broad, as it targets the most valuable resource of an organization - the staff, with its skills, know-how and energy. The purpose of this paper is to determine an to prove that the positive motivation of employees is a basic condition for the organization’s survival and success, being a priority and also an art and a continuous effort.

Long-Term Reward Patterns Contribute to Personal Goals at Work Among Finnish Managers

The research addresses the impact of long-term reward patterns on contents of personal work goals among young Finnish managers ( N = 747). Reward patterns were formed on the basis of perceived and objective career rewards (i.e., career stability and promotions) across four measurements (years 2006–2012). Goals were measured in 2012 and classified into categories of competence, progression, well-being, job change, job security, organization, and financial goals. The factor mixture analysis identified a three-class solution as the best model of reward patterns: high rewards (77%), increasing rewards (17%), and reducing rewards (7%). We ask two questions: what are the factors that influence researchers’ public engagement activities (PEA)? And what are the impacts of these activities on the researcher? After presenting a historical overview of PEA, we analyze 20 surveys carried out between 1967 and 2014. We identify some global trends: PEA is generally positively perceived, researcher’s engagement is occasional but robust. The role of the meso-accumbens dopaminergic pathway in reward-related behaviours is the subject of intense investigation. In this regard, here we analyse the effects of specific lesions of dopaminergic cells of the ventral tegmental area (VTA) of female mice on two goal-directed behaviours, namely sucrose preference (intake of sucrose solution vs. water) and preference for male sexual pheromones (exploration of male-soiled vs. clean bedding). Master thesis development management - University of Agder 2016 In this study, I have investigated vote buying and vote selling as a phenomenon in Uganda, using Rwamucucu Sub-County as a case. The major aim has been to understand local people’s perception of vote buying and selling and its effect on democracy and development. I have utilized a qualitative research strategy, using mainly semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions and field observations. The data were collected during the time of the 2016 Uganda general elections.
