Laadullisen tutkimuksen päätavoitteena oli pureutua siihen, miten opettaja ymmärtää ja rakentaa pedagogisen auktoriteettinsa koulun arjessa. Koska auktoriteettisuhde ei todennu ajatuksissa, puheessa ja kuvitelmissa, tutkin myös, miten auktoriteetti toimii ja saa oikeutuksen luokkatilanteessa. Pedagoginen auktoriteetti liitetään taustakirjallisuudessa toisaalta varsinaisen vallankäytön ulkopuoliseen, kasvatukseen liittyvään auktoriteettisuhteeseen, toisaalta korostetaan henkilösuhteen merkitystä auktoriteettisuhteen muotoutumisessa. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kuvailla pitkään opettaneiden naisopettajien kokemuksia omasta auktoriteetistaan, mahdollisista muutoksista niissä vuosikymmenien aikana ja auktoriteettiin vaikuttaneista tekijöistä. Tutkimuksessa selvitettiin kolmen eri sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon organisaation työntekijöiden näkökulmia pariterapian soveltamisesta lähisuhdeväkivallan hoidossa. Tutkimusmenetelmänä oli Erving Goffmanin (1986) kehysanalyysi. Kehys on ikään kuin näkökulma, josta henkilö tarkastelee puheenaiheena olevaa asiaa. Aineisto koostui keväällä 2011 perheneuvolassa, ensi- ja turvakodissa sekä perheasianneuvottelukeskuksessa toteutetuista fokusryhmähaastattelusta, joihin osallistui osa kyseisten toimipaikkojen työntekijöistä. In contemporary societies we are witnessing an expansion of the messages of human capital. These messages have as their central dimension idea of the self-entrepreneur, which implies a deepening in the logic of activation, while blurring the wage relations. In this scenario, young people with university degrees are becoming a favourite target in the offensive of human capital. This text is part of the author’s research on the literary culture of the nineteenth-century Upper Silesia. The author shows that at the forefront of modern Europe (at the beginning of industrialization and urbanization of the continent) the autochthon writers of Upper Silesia undertook actions aimed at fostering cultural awareness amongst their compatriots, who were considered to belong to a national minority, in order to instil patriotic feelings in them. In the current post-colonial discourse their struggles are recognized as the “voice of the periphery”. In eighteenth-century Spain, translations of women authors (and more generally, their being known -read, but also simply heard of- by the Spanish public) were vital in building of a legitimacy for women's reading, writing and publishing.
