In his writings, the Old-Polish preacher, Father Fabian Birkowski, many a time made references to reality of war, with which he was familiar due to his services as the camp chaplain. Thus, military motifs can be found in his sermons that were delivered on different occasions. He taught the art of good fighting by, among others, recalling the glorious memory of sons of the Crown, both members of clergy and laity, recollecting historic events from the history of the nation, propagating the cult of saints and preaching the Gospel on particular Sundays of the liturgical year, and all these issues are discussed in this paper. Abstract Previous research suggests that individual differences play an essential role in the complex process of organisational stress. The mediator role of specific individual differences and coping strategies, in the stressor – strain (effect) relationship is investigated in the present research. One sample of romanian employees (N=311) from an administrative-public service organisation participated in the study. Probācijas uzraudzība kā papildsods ir salīdzinoši jauns tiesību institūts, kas Latvijas tiesību sistēmā parādījās tikai 2011. gada 1. oktobrī, kad to sākotnēji varēja piemērot personām par izdarītajiem noziedzīgiem nodarījumiem pret tikumību un dzimumneaizskaramību. Taču pilnībā probācijas uzraudzība kā papildsods stājās spēkā vien 2015. gada 1. janvārī, kura uzraudzību un izpildi nodrošina Valsts probācijas dienests. Maģistra darba mērķis: noskaidrot kādas ir glikozes līmeņa svārstību atšķirības pacientiem, kuri saņem parenterālo barošanu vai 5% vai 10% glikozes šķīdumu. Hipotēze: Pacientiem, kuri saņem parenterālo barošanu pēcoperācijas terapijā, ir vērojamas lielākas glikozes līmeņa svārstības nekā tiem pacientiem, kuri saņem 5% vai 10% glikozes šķīdumu pēcoperācijas terapijā. Kā pētījuma metode tika izvēlēta kvantitatīvā pētīšanas metode, tās instrumentārijs- protokols. Glikozes kontrole tiek nodrošināta, veicot mērījumus no kapilārajām asinīm- glikozes līmeņa noteikšana no asins piliena, ko iegūst veicot nelielu dūrienu pacientam pirkstā-, katru dienu astoņos no rīta un astoņos vakarā. Cel. Celem artykułu, o charakterze przeglądowym, jest wyjaśnienie zjawiska parentyfikacji, jej uwarunkowań i konsekwencji z nią związanych. Parentyfikacja najczęściej określana jest jako odwrócona rola w rodzinie i dotyczy zamiany roli między rodzicem a dzieckiem. Dochodzi do niej wówczas gdy rodzic, częściowo lub całkowicie rezygnuje ze swoich zadań i obowiązków rodzicielskich. Abdykacja rodzica uruchamia proces parentyfikacji, w którym zwykle jedno, najczęściej najstarsze dziecko w rodzinie, czuje się oddelegowane do przejęcia roli rodzicielskiej, w różnych sferach życia rodzinnego. Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts parlamentārās kontroles institūtam. Līdz šīm, Latvijas tiesību zinātnieki nebija veltījuši pietiekami daudz uzmanības šīm institūtam, neskatoties uz to, ka tas ir viens no varas dalīšanas principa ievērošanu veicinošiem mehānismiem. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt parlamentārās kontroles institūta būtību un izvirzīt pilnveidošanas un uzlabošanas priekšlikumus Latvijas regulējumam. Pētījuma rezultātā autors secināja, ka parlamentārā kontrole ir viena no demokrātiskas valsts būtiskākajām sastāvdaļām, ar kuras palīdzību tautas vēlēts orgāns koriģē citu valsts orgānu darbību.
