Cilvēka 14. hromosomas proteasomu gēnu polimorfismu asociāciju ar multiplo sklerozi izpēte Latvijas populācijā

Proteasomālo gēnu polimorfismi ir autoimūnu slimību riska faktori. Lai novērtētu potenciālus multiplās sklerozes (MS) biomarķierus Latvijas populācijā, veicām proteasomālo gēnu PSMA6 un PSMC6 polimorfismu genotipēšanu 280 pacientiem ar MS diagnozi, ko salīdzinājām ar iepriekš ievāktiem datiem no 305 kontrolēm ar mērķi izpētīt iespējamo asociāciju starp šo lokusu polimorfismiem un MS. Tālākā analīzē kombinācijā ar iepriekšējiem PSMA3 polimorfismu genotipēšanas datiem atradām divus klīniski nozīmīgus multi-lokusu genotipus un trīs klīniski nozīmīgus haplotipus. The synthesis of high-performance carbon-based materials from biomass residues for electrodes has been considered a challenge to achieve in supercapacitor-based production. In this work, activated biochar has been prepared as the active electrode material for supercapacitors (SCs), and an effective method has been explored to boost its capacitive performance by employing polypyrrole (PPy) as a biochar dopant. The results for physicochemical characterization data have demonstrated that PPy doping affects the biochar morphology, specific surface area, pore structure, and incorporation of surface functionalities on modified biochar. Niitä on tutkittu monelta eri näkökannalta, kuten millaisissa rooleissa mies- ja naispelihahmot ovat toisiinsa verrattuna, miten hahmot kuvataan ja miten ne vastaavat todellisuutta. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkoituksena oli tarkkailla pelien keskustelukohtauksia ja havainnoida miten pääpelihahmojen sukupuoli, etnisyys ja luokka rakennetaan kahdessa japanilaisessa konsoliroolipelissä Lost Odyssey ja Final Fantasy XIII. Als besonders drastisch ist der Rückgang von Deutschlernern an finnischen Schulen einzuschätzen. Die vorliegende Studie ist Teil des Projekts Deutsch als Verkehrssprache in Finnland, das auf die Untersuchung der Rolle des Deutschen in akademischen und wirtschaftlichen Kontexten in Finnland abzielt. Bakalaura darbs „Bezrecepšu pretsāpju medikamentu lietošana sāpju kontrolei” ir pētījums par to, kā jaunieši (vecumā 20-30 gadi) veido izpratni par sāpēm, pretsāpju līdzekļiem un to lietošanu. Izmantojot Artura Kleinmana slimību skaidrošanas modeļus, caur jauniešu sāpju pieredzes stāstiem tiek skatīti sāpju izcelsmes skaidrojumi un sāpju nozīmīgums, kā arī bezrecepšu pretsāpju medikamentu efekta veidošanās un priekšstati par zāļu īpašībām. Pētījuma rezultāti norāda, ka bezrecepšu pretsāpju medikamenti tiek normalizēti un integrēti sāpju epizodes kontrolē caur sāpju nozīmes mazināšanu un medikamenta efektu un īpašību konstruēšanu.
