Abstract Today most of the world's products benefit from a huge success because of a big brand. If in the past this was the case for the luxury industry where the power of branding it's reaching the consumer in the most impactful way. First by the mystery surrounding the brand, then by keeping the consumer as loyal as possible, the result being huge revenues for this brands, for, eg. LVMH, the largest group by revenue. But things are no longer the same, today the power of branding and huge revenues moved to another industry flourished, tech industry, where companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon, dominate their sectors benefiting from a strong brand name.

Recent scholarship in critical toponymy studies has refashioned the understanding of street names from innocent labels to nominal loci of historical memory and vectors of collective identity that are embroiled with power relations. Urban nomenclatures consist of more than mere linguistic signposts deployed onto space to facilitate navigation. Street names are also powerful signposts that indicate the political regime and its socio-cultural values. Given the financial crisis, the differences between regions in terms of tourism infrastructure have accentuated. Abstract This paper aims to present the state of implementation of operational programs 2007-2013 co-financed with structural instruments, to determine the level of absorption of these funds and the achievement of the strategic objectives set by European and national documents. The purpose of this analysis is to identify weaknesses and strengths that Romania has in this area and how it is likely to increase the success of absorption rate of EU funds. All these aspects are very important, as structural funds are considered an important tool in combating the effects of the financial crisis on the Romanian economy.

Victims or Aggresors? Framing Romanian Migrants and Crime in Two British Newspapers

The research question at which the present article attempts to answer is: What are the British journalistic procedures used in representing migration and crime in the specific case of Romanian migrants? The article uses quantitative content analysis as the main method of research. The sample of texts was made up of 117 articles published in two (tabloid) British newspapers (the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror) in the time-period January 1–December 21, 2015. The violent acts of Romanian migrants that were covered by the UK press were extremely diverse. They ranged from robbery, murder and begging to prostitution and medical malpractice. Geocriticism: for an interpretation of the Romanian novel about the Revolution of 1989

Abstract The main aim of this paper is to present a recent approach to literary text- the geocritical method- both from a descriptive and a polemic point of view, and, at the same time, to determine the applicability of this method and the concepts issued by Betrand Westphal on the Romanian novel describing Bucharest during the Revolution of 1989. Following the routes presented in the novels of two contemporary authors, Mircea Cărtărescu and Bogdan Suceava, I will try to propose a new method of topos analysis in the novel, which could re-evaluate the representation of the spaces caught at the boundary between reality and fiction (in the future).
