Despite the advantages they offer, a variety of biological repercussions have been described in the literature that can even lead to the loss of these. In the 20th century, the history of a traditional city got entwined with a modernistic industrial city which was taking shape. The effects of collisional relaxation processes on the Q-branch profile of major species present in combustions have been studied by high resolution stimulated Raman spectroscopy. Particular interest has focused on the following collisional systems: N2-N2, O2-O2, CO2-CO2, O2-N2, N2-CO2 and N2-H2O. For each colliding pair, starting from accurate determinations of line broadening coefficients over a wide temperature range, state-to-state rates for rotational energy transfers have been deduced by using various fitting laws. Special Functions for the Study of Economic Dynamics: The Case of the Lucas-Uzawa Model

The special functions are intensively used in mathematical physics to solve differential systems. We argue that they should be most useful in economic dynamics, notably in the assessment of the transition dynamics of endogenous growth models. We illustrate our argument on the Lucas-Uzawa model, which we solve by the means of Gaussian hypergeometric functions. We show how the use of Gaussian hypergeometric functions allows for an explicit representation of the equilibrium dynamics of the variables in level. In contrast to the preexisting approaches, our method is global and does not rely on dimension reduction.

As an application, we establish a Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization condition for Schrodinger operators with real-analytic complex-valued potentials.

Much has been written about the famous lecture on “Mathematical Problems” (Hilbert 1901) that David Hilbert delivered at the Second International Congress of Mathematicians, which took place in Paris during the summer of 1900 (Alexandrov 1979; Browder 1976).
