In Finland, teachers have considerable autonomy over their assessment practices. Recent studies suggest that FL/L2 teachers, particularly at the upper secondary school, primarily focus on summative assessment rather than on formative assessment and feedback, which is in contrast with the latest Finnish National Core Curricula. Furthermore, while appreciating teacher feedback, learners do not perceive it as an integral part of assessment. Minimally invasive treatment of uterine fibroids usually requires a power morcellation, which could be associated with several complications. A rare sequela is disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis. Indeed, recurrence or metastasis in these cases could be attributed to iatrogenic or under-evaluation of primary tumors, although a subset of cases is a sporadic sample of biological progression. We present an extremely rare case of a patient who underwent laparoscopic morcellation and after 12 years developed a pelvic leiomyosarcoma with two omental metastases, disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis with a parasite leiomyoma with bizarre nuclei and a parasite cellular leiomyoma simultaneously.…
La ciencia ficción y la enseñanza de las ciencias

Este trabajo constituye una primera aproximación a la ciencia en la ciencia ficción desde el punto de vista del alumnado y qué posibilidades ofrece como recurso didáctico. Sondeamos, por tanto, si los alumnos conocen y han visto cine de ciencia ficción, así como si este factor influye en sus actitudes hacia la ciencia y los científicos y su opinión sobre las consecuencias de los avances científicos en el futuro. Asimismo, nos planteamos si los estudiantes perciben las visiones deformadas de la ciencia y los científicos que transmite el cine de ciencia ficción. Pretendemos, asimismo, estudiar si se utiliza la ciencia ficción como recurso didáctico.

Abstract In this paper, we consider a finite-dimensional vector space 𝒫 {{\mathcal{P}}} over the Galois field GF ( p ) {\operatorname{GF}(p)} , with p being an odd prime, and the family ℬ k x {{\mathcal{B}}_{k}^{x}} of all k-sets of elements of 𝒫 {\mathcal{P}} summing up to a given element x. The main result of the paper is the characterization, for x = 0 {x=0} , of the permutations of 𝒫 {\mathcal{P}} inducing permutations of ℬ k 0 {{\mathcal{B}}_{k}^{0}} as the invertible linear mappings of the vector space 𝒫 {\mathcal{P}} if p does not divide k, and as the invertible affinities of the affine space 𝒫 {\mathcal{P}} if p divides k. YAlO3 svārstību spektroskopija

Pētījuma gaitā tiek apskatīts optoelektronikā daudz pielietojams perovskitveida kristāls – YAlO3 (YAP). Tam tiek modelēta kristāliskā režģa dinamika, izmantojot pirmo principu (ab initio) un klasiskās molekulārdinamikas aprēķinus programmā CRYSTAL un GULP. Iegūtas fononu dispersijas un stāvokļu blīvumu līknes, eksperimentāli ģenerēti Ramana un infrasarkanie spektri. Ar rentgenstaru difrakciju noteikti YAP kristāla režģa parametri, tie salīdzināti ar DFT un klasisko aprēķinu optimizēto struktūru. Ar Ramana un infrasarkanās atstarošanās spektroskopijas metodēm mērīti monokristāliski YAP kristāla paraugi. Iegūti polarizēti Ramana spektri pie istabas un pie zemām temperatūrām (10 K), atklātas i…
