Analysis of sociodemographic and clinical factors determining experience and satisfaction with nursing care among cardiosurgical unit patients

Wprowadzenie: Satysfakcja pacjenta z opieki pielęgniarskiej stała się kluczową determinantą jakości opieki szpitalnej. Cel pracy: Ustalenie poziomu doświadczeń i satysfakcji z opieki pielęgniarskiej pacjentów oddziału kardiochirurgii oraz ich determinantów. Materiał i metody: Zbadano 100 pacjentów oddziału kardiochirurgicznego. Zastosowano Skalę zadowolenia z pielęgnacji Newcastle (NSNS), Skalę numeryczną (NRS) oraz ankietę własną. Chemsex refers to the use of psychoactive drugs for sexual purposes—before or during sex. This phenomenon mainly affects men, in particular those belonging to the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning, asexual, and more diverse individuals) community. The article is a report on our own research concerning how spouses who do not take over parental roles assess their family. The study aimed to search for a relationship between evaluating one’s family and life/marital satisfaction and attitudes towards children among spouses who do not undertake parenting. This study examined whether work–family support (WF support) buffers permanent and temporary workers similarly against the negative effects of work–family conflict as regard job satisfaction and emotional energy level at work and at home. A total of 1,719 Finnish nurses participated in this study in 2009. The results revealed that high coworker WF support protected temporary workers against the negative effects of high work–family conflict on emotional energy at work. Objective: This study aimed at describing the coping strategies used by patients of small burns (<= 20% body surface area) at the early stage of rehabilitation process and to analyze the effect of coping strategies and body image dissatisfaction on psychiatric symptoms and quality of life.Method: Sixty-nine patients firstly admitted to an out-patient burn unit were involved in the study.
