AbstractThe development of a successful lineage reprogramming strategy of liver to pancreas holds promises for the treatment and potential cure of diabetes. The liver is an ideal tissue source for generating pancreatic cells, because of its close developmental origin with the pancreas and its regenerative ability. Do fee-shifting rules affect plaintiffs’ win rates? A theoretical and empirical analysis

Abstract This article studies whether fee-shifting rules can affect plaintiffs’ win rates. Beyond theoretical modeling, this study goes a step further and provides empirical evidence on this issue, thanks to the study of a real change in Spanish legislation. Spain applied the so-called English rule in 2011 in the administrative jurisdiction. This study explores whether plaintiffs were more or less successful when litigating against public administrations since then. Introduction An important concern in Internet-based treatments (IBTs) for emotional disorders is the high dropout rate from these protocols. Although dropout rates are usually reported in research studies, very few studies qualitatively explore the experiences of patients who drop out of IBTs. Maģistra darba “Hronotops A. Manfeldes romānā “Vilcēni”, A. Jundzes romānā “Sarkanais dzīvsudrabs” un J. Joņeva romānā “Jelgava 94” mērķis ir raksturot un analizēt fiktīvo romānu 20. gadsimta 90. gadu laiktelpu Latvijā un citus ar to saistītus literāros hronotopus. Darba teorētiskajā daļā sniegts hronotopa teorētiskais ieskats, ieskats semiotiskajā un naratoloģijas pētniecības metodē; aplūkota hronotopa un romāna saistība; ieskats romānu recepcijā kritikā; sniegts ieskats kultūrvēsturiskajā situācijā un pilsētas laiktelpā. Pētījuma praktiskajā daļā tiek analizēts 20. gadsimta 90. gadu hronotops romānos caur naratīvu un kā tas atklājas caur dažādām semiotiskajām zīmēm pilsētvidē.

Tras la Constitución de 2019 se avizora un nuevo horizonte de la responsabilidad parental en Cuba, que nace entre la constitucionalización de los derechos familiares y el reconocimiento constitucional de las garantías procesales como expresión de cambios sociales y corolario del influjo de la internacionalización de las relaciones familiares. A raíz de todo lo cual surge un programa de reformas de las instituciones sustantivas y procesales, que inspirado en el interés superior del niño debe integrar, en modo coherente y sistemático, las orientaciones que descienden del sistema convencional y la axiología que pauta el actual texto constitucional.
