A fuzzification of the category of M-valued L-topological spaces
2004
[EN] A fuzzy category is a certain superstructure over an ordinary category in which ”potential” objects and ”potential” morphisms could be such to a certain degree. The aim of this paper is to introduce a fuzzy category FTOP(L,M) extending the category TOP(L,M) of M-valued L- topological spaces which in its turn is an extension of the category TOP(L) of L-fuzzy topological spaces in Kubiak-Sostak’s sense. Basic properties of the fuzzy category FTOP(L,M) and its objects are studied.
A Laplace type problem for a lattice with cell composed by two trapezius and a triangle
2014
In the previous papers, [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9] and [10] the authors study some Laplace problem for different lattices. In this paper we determine the probability that a random segment of constant length intersects a side of lattice with cell represented in fig.1
Gibbs states, algebraic dynamics and generalized Riesz systems
2020
In PT-quantum mechanics the generator of the dynamics of a physical system is not necessarily a self-adjoint Hamiltonian. It is now clear that this choice does not prevent to get a unitary time evolution and a real spectrum of the Hamiltonian, even if, most of the times, one is forced to deal with biorthogonal sets rather than with on orthonormal basis of eigenvectors. In this paper we consider some extended versions of the Heisenberg algebraic dynamics and we relate this analysis to some generalized version of Gibbs states and to their related KMS-like conditions. We also discuss some preliminary aspects of the Tomita-Takesaki theory in our context.
Frames and representing systems in Fréchet spaces and their duals
2014
[EN] Frames and Bessel sequences in Fr\'echet spaces and their duals are defined and studied. Their relation with Schauder frames and representing systems is analyzed. The abstract results presented here, when applied to concrete spaces of analytic functions, give many examples and consequences about sampling sets and Dirichlet series expansions.
A Note on States and Traces from Biorthogonal Sets
2019
In this paper, following Bagarello, Trapani, and myself, we generalize the Gibbs states and their related KMS-like conditions. We have assumed that H 0 , H are closed and, at least, densely defined, without giving information on the domain of these operators. The problem we address in this paper is therefore to find a dense domain D that allows us to generalize the states of Gibbs and take them in their natural environment i.e., defined in L &dagger

2016
In this paper we use an approach based on a Buffon-Laplace type problem for an irregular hexagonal lattice and obstacles to study some problems about analysis of the railway network operations safety in the presence of different obstacles on the route.
The Ability of Variant Peptides to Reverse the Nonresponsiveness of T Lymphocytes to the Wild-Type Sequence p53264–272 Epitope
2002
Abstract Recently, we observed that CTL specific for the wild-type (wt) sequence p53264–272 peptide could only be expanded ex vivo from PBMC of a subset of the HLA-A2.1+ normal donors or cancer patients tested. Surprisingly, the tumors of the responsive patients expressed normal levels of wt p53 and could be considered unlikely to present this epitope. In contrast, tumors of nonresponsive patients accumulated mutant p53 and were more likely to present this epitope. We sought to increase the responsive rate to the wt p53264–272 peptide of PBMC obtained from normal donors and patients by identifying more immunogenic variants of this peptide. Two such variants were generated by amino acid exch…

Large scale preparation of human MHC class II+ integrin beta(1)+ Tregs.
2010
Abstract The human CD4 + CD25 + FoxP3 + regulatory T cell population (Tregs) contains both MHC class II + and MHC class II − cells. MHC class II + Tregs belong to the integrin α 4 β 1 + subpopulation and exclusively execute contact-dependent suppressive activity. Here we present a method optimized for isolation of these MHC class II expressing Tregs from large leukaphereses products using magnetic microbeads that achieves a reproducible purity of more than 90% and enables the use of this small-sized Treg population in pre-clinical application and basic research.
