Background The aim of this study was to describe, explain, and compare the correlations between workload, job satisfaction, and occupational stress levels in Polish midwives working before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Material and Methods This study was cross-lagged in nature and conducted in 2 phases at public health facilities. The first phase took place between March and August 2018 before the current pandemic, and the second in February 2021. Objetivo: El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar la prevalencia de satisfacción laboral en una muestra de pediatras. Pacientes y Método: La muestra la formaron 123 pediatras que trabajaban en Servicios de Pediatría de hospitales generales, 89 mujeres (72,4%) y 34 hombres (27,6%). El estudio fue transversal, no aleatorizado. La satisfacción laboral se evaluó mediante una escala de 8 ítems del Cuestionario de Satisfacción laboral S20/23¹. Aim: The aim of this randomized clinical trial was to compare the coronally advanced flap (CAF) with the modified microsurgical tunnel technique (MMTT) for treatment of Miller class I and II recessions. Material and Methods: Forty patients with 71 gingival recessions were recruited and randomly assigned to either CAF or to MMTT. In both groups, a connective tissue graft was applied. Clinical evaluations were performed after 3, 6, and 12 months. There is an ongoing debate about two contradictory moderating effects of leader–member exchange (LMX) on the relationship between psychological contract breach (PCB) and work outcomes. Whereas some studies demonstrated LMX to be a social support resource capable of buffering the negative effects of PCB, findings from other research suggest that employees show stronger negative reactions to PCB when the quality of relationships with leaders is high.
