The aim of the study was to investigate the relationships between enjoyment, perceived competence, fundamental movement skills, and physical activity engagement of Grade 7 students participating in Finnish physical education. A secondary aim of the study was to examine gender differences in all assessed variables. The participants of the study were 404 Grade 7 students aged 13 years. Artikkelissa kuvaamme lyhyesti suomalaisen viittomakielen taitotasokuvainten ja arviointikriteereiden kehittämistä ja siihen liittyvää validointiprosessia Soveltavan kielentutkimuksen keskuksessa. Suomalaisessa viittomakielessä ei aiemmin ole ollut yhtenäisiä, teoreettisesti määriteltyjä kuvauksia viittomakielen taidon kehittymisestä. Nyt kehitetyissä taitotasokuvaimissa ja arviointikriteereissä viittomakielen taito on kuvattu kuusiportaisella asteikolla kolmessa eri osataidossa: viittomakielen ymmärtämisessä, viittomakielen itsenäisessä tuottamisessa ja viittomakielisessä keskustelussa. Diplomdarbā pētāmā problēma: 4. klases skolēniem grūtības sagādā jaunrades darba prezentēšana. Prezentēšanas prasme skolēniem nav iepriekš attīstīta, taču “Skola 2030” plānotajos sasniedzamajos rezultātos norādīts, ka skolēnam ir jāprot pastāstīt par darba procesu, izaicinājumiem un idejas rašanos. Diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt prezentēšanas prasmju nozīmi 4.klašu skolēniem un izstrādāt ieteikumus, kurus izmantojot iespējams attīstīt prezentēšanas prasmi. La ricerca «Telemaco» è stata svolta per promuovere una partecipazione attiva e responsabile degli studenti universitari alla didattica universitaria. A tal fine, si è ritenuto opportuno preparare tale partecipazione mediante l’applicazione di due metodi d’intervento con cui migliorare il loro senso di autoefficacia, la loro capacità di gestire l’ansia da prestazione e l’immagine del loro «sé» attuale: la scrittura espressiva e il tutoraggio tra pari. I risultati dimostrano l’efficacia di questi due metodi sulle tre competenze prese in esame. Research Findings: The purpose of the present study was to examine the extent to which the quality of teacher–child interactions and teachers’ self-reported curriculum emphases are related to children’s reading skill development during their 1st school year. To accomplish this, we assessed the reading skills of 1,029 Finnish children (M age = 85.77 months) twice during Grade 1, and the children’s teachers (n = 91) completed questionnaires concerning their literacy-related curriculum emphases. The purpose of the study is to explore physical education (PE) students’ social and emotional learning (SEL) and the meaningful learning experiences during the SEL course. In the teaching profession, understanding SEL is important because the guidance of learning and group dynamics is essentially an interactive social process. Further, previous research shows that focusing on socioemotional skills promotes students’ academic achievement. Teachers’ SEL skills can be developed by training.
