SNP and SML estimation of univariate and bivariate binary–choice models

We discuss the semi-nonparametric approach of Gallant and Nychka (1987, Econometrica 55: 363–390), the semiparametric maximum likelihood approach of Klein and Spady (1993, Econometrica 61: 387–421), and a set of new Stata commands for semiparametric estimation of three binary-choice models. The first is a univariate model, while the second and the third are bivariate models without and with sample selection, respectively. Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir „Sīkpartiju popularitātes pieaugšana Lielbritānijā: cēloņi un iespējamās sekas”. Pētījuma ietvaros tiek raksturota sīkpartiju popularitātes pieaugšana Apvienotajā Karalistē uz vienas partijas piemēra (t.i. Skotu Nacionālā partija), tās iemesli un iespējamās sekas. Darba mērķis ir saprast, kāpēc Lielbritānijā turpina pieaugt sīkpartiju popularitāte. Uzdevums ir apstiprināt vai noraidīt izvirzīto hipotēzi: Lielbritānijā pieaug sīkpartiju popularitāte institucionālo izmaiņu dēļ. La Farmacogenética (PGt) estudia el vínculo entre las variaciones en la secuencia de ADN de un paciente y su respuesta al tratamiento farmacológico. Darbinieka uzteikumā, pamatojoties uz tikumības un taisnprātības apsvērumiem, iekļautas divas ģenerālklauzulas. Šī darba ietvaros tika noskaidrots šo ģenerālklauzulu likuma ietvars un saturs. Konstatēts, ka tiesas apsvērumu iemeslus saista ar darba devēja rīcību un nemantiskām vērtībām, kas neatbilst tiesu praksē atzītajam konkrētā uzteikuma mērķim un funkcijām. Meklējot piemērotākos risinājumus regulējuma uzlabošanai, tika vērtēta darba tiesību normu attīstība Latvijā un salīdzinošā aspektā aplūkoti Igaunijas, Šveices darba likumi, kā arī Latvijas Komerclikums. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in genes involved in the activation or regulation of innate and adaptive immune responses may modulate the susceptibility to and the natural history of certain chronic viral infections. The current study aimed to investigate whether donor and recipient SNPs in the chemokine receptor 5 (rs1800023), monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 (rs13900), interleukin-10 (rs1878672), and Toll-like receptor 9 (rs352140) genes would exert any influence on the rate of incidence and features of CMV DNAemia in the allogeneic stem cell transplantation setting.
