We analysed the genetic diversity of Melicertus kerathurus (Penaeidae), a commercially valuable penaeid shrimp that is distributed in the Mediterranean Sea and eastern Atlantic Ocean. We examined the polymorphism of a 494 bp DNA segment of the mitochondrial COI region in 173 individuals, sampled in nine Mediterranean and two Atlantic samples, covering the whole range of the species from the tropical waters of the Gulf of Guinea to the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of the operator's experience on the shaping of double-curvature simulated root canals with a nickel-titanium single-file reciprocating motion system.Sixty double-curvature root canals simulated in methacrylate blocks were prepared by 10 students without any experience in endodontics and by 10 professionals who had studied endodontics at the postgraduate level. Stimulation of the cervical vagus nerves caused an output of acetylcholine (ACh) from the isolated chicken heart, which almost exclusively was released from the postganglionic neurons: (+)-tubocurarine (3 X 10(-14) M) reduced the output to 12 +/- 6% (n = 7) of the control. Stimulation of the two nerve trunks ws equally effective in releasing ACh.--Evidence that a large number of postganglionic neurons receives bilateral innervation was based on two experimental series. Obowiązek stałej aktualizacji wiedzy pielęgniarek i położnych reguluje ustawa o zawodzie pielęgniarki i położnej oraz kodeks etyki. Okręgowa Izba Pielęgniarek i Położnych w Katowicach, jako organizator kształcenia podyplomowego, prowadząc wszystkie rodzaje kształcenia, przeszkoliła dotąd ponad 50 tysięcy uprawnionych osób. Celem pracy było dokonanie ewaluacji podjętych działań, w oparciu o materiały korporacyjne z lat 2000-2017. Przedstawione wyniki, w ujęciu ilościowym, obrazują poziom realnego zainteresowania kursami specjalistycznymi oraz kwalifikacyjnymi, a także źródła ich finansowania.

1. Cats were given single injections of 1.8 mg/kg reserpine intraperitoneally. After a time interval of 18 hours the animals were killed. The concentration of adrenaline and noradrenaline in the right and left atria and ventricles was estimated by a method reported previously. 2. Reserpine caused a similar loss of catechol amines from all parts of the heart. The concentration of noradrenaline was reduced by 93–97%, the concentration of adrenaline by 59–79%. 3. These observations suggest that the adrenaline of the heart behaves differently from that of sympathetic ganglia or postganglionic nerve fibres after an injection of reserpine. Aquesta tesi se centra en l’estudi de la producció poètica de Joan Fuster i Ortells (Sueca, 1922-1992), un dels escriptors i intel·lectuals més rellevants de les lletres catalanes de la segona meitat del segle xx. Encara que fou reconegut sobretot com a assagista, també conreà la poesia, l’aforisme, el dietarisme, l’articulisme periodístic, la crítica literària, la traducció i la historiografia, entre altres.
