Scopo Indagare i cambiamenti di connettività funzionale nei giocatori patologici (GP) rispetto ai controlli sani (CS) mediante risonanza magnetica funzionale in condizioni di resting state. Materiale e metodi 13 CS e 14 GP sono stati reclutati in questo studio (tutti maschi destrimani, non in terapia farmacologica, età media 35,96 ± 9,56). Development of an early warning system to predict sewer overflow
Flash flooding in our city is still a fairly common phenomenon.Unfortunately, the development of a flash flood forecasting system in urban areas is not a simple and unambiguous procedure.While attending the PhD course in Civil and Environmental Engineering, research activity has been given to realize an urban overflowing prediction system that was best as possible suited to the drainage network of the city of Palermo. With the support of radar data and hybrid hydraulic model for drainage network has been possible to demonstrate the effectiveness of this instrument, while the reduction of residual flood risk has been supported by modern resilience measures.

Composting, mechanical-biological treatment (MBT), biodrying and biostabilization processes of pre-selected organic fraction from municipal solid wastes (OFMSW) have recently become important in municipal solid waste management. Through these treatment processes the potential impacts of the produced wastes and the volume to treat in the landfill are strongly reduced. This paper presents the results of an experimental study on the use of CRM (Crumb Rubber Modifier) in bituminous mixtures for asphalt pavements, using a Dry Process. Employing experimental methods capable of ensuring that the mixtures obtained and the stress conditions that they undergo in pavements are representative, we clarify some aspects relating to the design and production of mixtures; we also show the effects of the bitumen-rubber interaction on mechanical performances (fatigue resistance and rutting).
