SUMMARY 1. Climate change affects aquatic ecosystems differently depending on local conditions. In the Mediterranean region, predicted drier seasons could especially affect lake water residence time and in consequence cyanobacteria and cyanotoxin dynamics. 2. We carried out a 3-year study of a shallow, Mediterranean lake (Lake Albufera, Spain), to study the effects of water residence time and other drivers on the dynamics of harmful cyanobacteria and microcystin concentrations (MCYST). 3. We report the synthesis of h-magnetite, ideally h-Fe 3 O 4 with considerable amounts of substitutional cations (Cr, Mg, Al, Si) and quenchable to ambient conditions. Two types of experiments were performed at 18 GPa and 1800 °C in a multi-anvil press. In one, we used an oxide mixture with a majoritic stoichiometry Mg 1.8 Fe 1.2 (Al 1.4 Cr 0.2 Si 0.2 Mg 0.2 )Si 3 O 12 , with Si and Mg in excess as starting material (MA-367, MA-380). No previous study has explored the structure of self-rated health (SRH), a measure holding strong predictive value for future health events, in the oldest old or in individuals with dementia. The aim was to construct a structural equation model of SRH for oldest old in general and for oldest old with dementia, and to explore direct and indirect associations between health-related factors and SRH. Cross-sectional data from the Vitality 90+, a population-based study in the city of Tampere, Finland, was used. Data were gathered by a mailed questionnaire in 2014. Viena no mūsdienu ekonomikas problēmām ir bezdarbs. Bezdarbs ir valstī notiekošo procesu sekas un tas negatīvi ietekmē ekonomiku. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt bezdarba līmeni Baltijas valstīs no 2008. līdz 2020. gadam, identificēt bezdarba līmeni ietekmējošos faktorus, izstrādāt priekšlikumus bezdarba līmeņa samazināšanai.
