La pedagogia fondamentale di stile fenomenologico-ermeneutico, che in questo Corso di Lezioni stiamo delineando, aspira ad essere una scienza che – con il linguaggio della fenomenologia – possiamo chiamare eidetica, tesa cioè alla conoscenza dell’essenza. In particolare, in queste due Unità centrali stiamo evidenziando della pedagogia fondamentale due caratteri solo apparentemente antitetici (anzi la loro peculiare sintesi costituisce uno delle note più interessanti e feconde di questa prospettiva): il suo essere un modello di ricerca teorica e il suo mantenere sempre un carattere eminentemente pratico.

Posterior meniscal root repair: a biomechanical comparison between human and porcine menisci

The aim of the present study was to compare the biomechanical characteristics of posterior meniscal root repair of porcine and human menisci. Methods. In vitro biomechanical testing was performed using 12 porcine menisci and 12 human menisci. All menisci were sectioned at the midpoint of their circumference and mounted on an electro-mechanic testing machine. The posterior root was sutured with three single stitches using a no. 2 non-absorbable suture. All specimens were subjected to cyclic axial loading followed by load-to-failure testing. A comprehensive analysis of the intermolecular interaction energy and anharmonic vibrations of 41 structures of the HXeY· · · HX (X, Y = F, Cl, Br, I) family of noble-gas-compound complexes for all possible combinations of Y and X was conducted. New structures were identified, and their interaction energies were studied by means of symmetry-adapted perturbation theory, up to secondorder corrections: this provided insight into the physical nature of the interaction in the complexes. Domestication of a Robotic Medication-Dispensing Service Among Older People in Finnish Lapland

This paper presents a case study on a robotic medication-dispensing service used in the everyday lives of older people in Finnish Lapland through the concept of domestication. The study took an ethnographic approach. A total of 11 service users, practical nurses, and other health-care professionals participated; the service users averaged age 81 years (M= 81.4, SD = 5.4). The data comprised semistructured interviews complemented by observations and photographs at service users’ homes. L’area di Sutera, caratterizzata da affioramenti evaporitici messiniani e non lontana da importanti miniere di salgemma e di zolfo, ha subito una veloce corsa verso la ricerca di minerali pregiati intorno ai primi del ‘900.
