For a writer who had been so much at pains to show on stage the inability of words to communicate the innermost feelings, this infant god was readily embraced as the perfect symbol with which to begin and end, as in the Ancient Rome, this transcendent performance. This study focuses, from a short story of the blood libel of Saint Dominguito de Val, on answering the questions of when and why the ?tradition? was made about this saint, and the specific moments of his Revitalization until the end of the 17th century. Although the short story of the death of this infant has been occupied by the most diverse writers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, we take as reference the master Espés and the chroniclers Blancas, Andrés de Uztarroz and Dormer.
On Daugavet indices of thickness

Inspired by R. Whitley's thickness index the last named author recently introduced the Daugavet index of thickness of Banach spaces. We continue the investigation of the behavior of this index and also consider two new versions of the Daugavet index of thickness, which helps us solve an open problem which connect the Daugavet indices with the Daugavet equation. Moreover, we will improve the formerly known estimates of the behavior of Daugavet index on direct sums of Banach spaces by establishing sharp bounds. Impact of text availability and question format on reading comprehension processes

Abstract We conducted two experiments to analyze how text availability and question format affect readers’ processes and performance on measures of expository text reading comprehension. Junior high school students read expository texts and answered both multiple choice and open-ended questions on a computer that recorded reading times and readers’ actions with Read&Answer software. The results showed that readers reread prior text segments during initial reading of the text more often when they knew that the text would be unavailable when answering questions than when they knew that the text would be available. The ECG shows clearly visible P waves only in lead V1 (Fig. 1). Regular PP intervals and an isoelectric baseline are present between the P waves, so the diagnosis is atrial tachycardia [1]. During the ECG recording, lead V1 shows 12 P waves but some of these are not visible because they are concealed by the QRS complex (Fig. 2). In lead V1, the beats following the long RR intervals are conducted by the first and the seventh P wave and the premature QRS complexes are conducted by the third and the ninth P wave because the fourth and the tenth P wave are too close to the following QRS complex to conduct the impulse.
