Bisexual desires for more than one gender as a challenge to normative relationship ideals

Normative western understandings of intimate relationships continue to draw upon the discourses of romantic love and the ideal of finding ‘the one’ who meets all our romantic and sexual needs. As desire is not sexually or emotionally exclusive, even people in normative relationships have to make sense of desires beyond the monogamous ideal. Bisexual people engage in these negotiations from a challenging cultural position. As a desire for more than one gender, bisexuality is persistently culturally associated with wavering desire, promiscuity and multiple partners. Artikkeli käsittelee suomalaisten mielisairaalapotilaiden piirrosten ja maalausten luontokuvastoa. Tutkimusaineistoa ovat Helsingin kaupunginmuseon hallinnoimat Nikkilän sairaalan potilastaiteen kokoelman kuvat. Kuvien diagnostisen tulkitsemisen sijasta Nikkilän kokoelmaa lähestytään kuvastona selvittäen, millaista luontoon liittyvää symboliikkaa kokoelman teokset sisältävät. Teosten luontokuvastoa peilataan suomalaisten mielisairaalapotilaiden kirjallisiin muistelmiin, kansainvälisen potilastaiteen luontokuvastoon ja taiteen historiaan. The aim of the study was to examine the construct validity and internal consistency of the Motivational Climate in Physical Education Scale (MCPES). A key element of the development process of the scale was establishing a theoretical framework that integrated the dimensions of task- and ego involving climates in conjunction with autonomy, and social relatedness supporting climates. These constructs were adopted from the self-determination and achievement goal theories. A sample of Finnish Grade 9 students, comprising 2,594 girls and 1,803 boys, completed the 18–item MCPES during one physical education class. Especially the relationship between emotions and knowledge innovation has attracted much attention by scholars. Niniejszy artykuł stanowi wprowadzenie do pracy doktorskiej pod tym samym tytułem. Autor przybliża czytelnikowi pojęcie wielotekstu, a także dwutekstu (czyli szczególnego typu wielotekstu), prezentuje taksonomię par „oryginał + przekład” oraz przytacza konkretne egzemplifikacje. Przeglądu dokonuje, odnosząc się do pewnych założeń teoretycznych, np. właściwości strukturalnych tekstu, gatunkowości tekstu, nacechowania stylistycznego oraz funkcji, jakie dany tekst pełni w przestrzeni komunikacyjnej.
