Tiettyjä standardeja ja suunnitteludokumentteja käytetään määrittelemään sellaisia teknisiä parametrejä, jotka voivat vaikuttaa matkustajan aistihavaintoon liukuportaiden ajomukavuudesta. Laajemman ymmärryksen saamiseksi matkustajamukavuudesta tietoisesti koettuna ilmiönä, jota edeltävät useat kognitiiviset prosessit, voidaan tutkimuksessa käyttää heterofenomenologista lähestymistapaa. Tässä tutkielmassa liukuportaan ajomukavuuden kokemusta tutkittiin haastattelututkimuksella sekä tutkijahavainnoilla. Lasten poikkeavuuden määrittely 1950-luvun Suomessa

Tässä Suomen historian pro-gradu työssä tarkastellaan lapsuuden aikaisten ongelmien määritte-lyä 1950-luvun Suomessa. Alkuperäislähteinä on käytetty psykologian oppikirjoja sekä Keski-Suomen kasvatusneuvolan toimintakertomuksia vuosilta 1953–1962. Tutkimuksessa on lähes-tytty kasvatusneuvolaa ja psykologiaa tieteenä normaalin tuottajina. Kvalitatiivisessa sisällön-analyysia käyttävässä tutkimuksessa näkökulmana on ollut Michel Foucault’n teoria biovallasta. Tutkimuksen rakenne etenee tutkimuskysymysten esittelystä sekä tutkimuskirjallisuuden ja tut-kimuksen suuntaviivojen esittelystä aiheen taustoitukseen. W artykule autor przedstawia zróżnicowane spojrzenie na problem migracji: emigrację z krajów latynoamerykańskich i imigrancką perspektywę w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Problem ujmuje przede wszystkim jako wyzwanie i jednocześnie zagrożenie dla bezpieczeństwa społecznego, ze względu na współwystępujące problemy: nierówności społeczne, ubóstwo, wyzysk w miejscu pracy. Temat w dalszym ciągu jest aktualny, również ze względu na jego polityczne uwarunkowania, obecne w kampanii wyborczej w 2016 roku w Stanach Zjednoczonych.

W artykule przeanalizowano kluczowe problemy bezpieczeństwa publicznego w wybranych państwach Ameryki Łacińskiej, który to region bywa postrzegany jako przestrzeń szczególnie narażona na wyzwania stojące przed elitami politycznymi próbującymi radzić sobie z wyzwaniami współczesnego świata, w optyce społecznej, gospodarczej i politycznej. Zwrócono szczególną uwagę na kwestie dotyczące intensyfikacji przemocy związanej z nierozwiązanym od kilku dekad problemem produkcji i eksportu narkotyków.

Perfetti (2007) proposed that the quality of lexical representations affects reading. We investigated the role of lexical quality in decoding. Eighty-four adults read aloud words and pseudowords with dense and sparse neighbourhoods in a masked form-priming experiment. Individual-difference measures of language and cognitive processes were collected and entered into a principal component analysis (PCA). Compared to a non-overlapping control prime, we observed greater facilitatory form-priming for word targets with sparse neighbourhoods than those with dense neighbourhoods. Positive attitudes and proactive participation toward organizational change were presumed to affect and be affected by personality resources measured via core self-evaluations and work-related motivational well-being (vigor). Associations between changes in the psychosocial work environment and changes in personal work goals were investigated in a two-wave, two-year longitudinal study. Psychosocial work environment was studied within the context of the Effort–Reward Imbalance model (ERI; Siegrist, 1996). The participants consisted of 423 young Finnish managers. Their most important personal work goals were categorized into seven content categories of competence, progression, well-being, job change, job security, organization, and finance at both measurement times.
