Identifying Critical Determinants of ‘Digital Customer Services’ Usage – An Exploratory Study

Digital technology has reinvented retail business as well as commerce. This study aims to examine consumers’ perception and usage of digital customer services (DCS) and investigate three significant post-adoption and marketing consequences: simplicity, awareness, and usefulness. Using a purposeful sampling technique, 10 semi-structured, in-depth interviews were conducted with banking customers in Finland in January 2019. The research findings suggest that simplicity regarding DCS occupies a key position in their prolonged use, while awareness and usability are also important. Computer aided scheduling and routing of vehicle-carrier fleet—a case study

This paper presents a case study of development of an information system for a large enterprise from vehicle-transport industry. A novel optimization model and algorithms developed to solve scheduling and routing of vehicle-carrier fleet are presented and discussed. Carried out qualitative experiments confirmed the usability of developed user-guided search paradigm and high performance of autonomous algorithmic solution search methods.

Codes of conduct have become perhaps the most frequently used tool in the management of corporate social responsibility. This research aims to determine the wa y in which Credit Institutions perceive tr ansparency and to see how this influ- ences the application of codes of ethics. The fieldwork was conducted by means of a survey that was answered by 57 Spanish Credit Institutions. Computational prediction of the Helitron-N2 (HeN2) transposable element in the strim1 locus of the Paracentrotus lividus genome

Transposons constitute a significant component of the eukaryotic genome. Among others, Helitrons represent a novel major class of eukaryotic transposons, and are fundamentally different from classical ones in terms of their structure and mechanism of transposition [1]. In particular, Helitrons constitute ~1% of the sea urchin genome [2]. By a in silico approach focused on the genome of the Mediterranean sea urchin Paracentrotus lividus, we have predicted regions of high sequence identity to a Helitron-N2 (HeN2) element in the strim1 locus.
