Latvijas Universitāte, Rīga, 41 lpp. Bakalaura darbā ir veikts pētījums par karsta procesu izpausmēm, atklātajām un slēptajām karsta formām Salaspils novadā, Ropažu līdzenuma dienvidrietumos. Pētījumā izveidots trīs dimensionāls Zemes virsmas modelis, izmantojot LIDAR aerolāzerskenēšanas datus. Visas potenciālās karsta formas ir pārbaudītas lauka apsekošanā. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina par karsta procesu izplatību galvenokārt Salaspils novada centrālajā daļā, īpaši ģipšakmens karjera dienvidos, kur plešas karsta formām blīvs karsta apgabals.

The increase of education in younger generations and the relative scarcity of qualified jobs available for them makes overeducation of young employees a social issue. We explored the relationships between overeducation and job satisfaction (extrinsic, intrinsic, social facet), as well as the direct and moderating role of salary, contract of employment, and work experience in these relationships using hierarchical regression analyses. Data were collected from a sample of 643 young Spanish employees. As expected, there were negative relationships between overeducation and all 3 satisfaction facets. Abstract The aim of this article is to analyse how different policies and actors have structured the current migrant labour regime in the Finnish construction sector and to discuss the consequences for migrants. Our study shows that a strong industrial relations system such as in Finland is able to curb the posting of workers regime (the most disadvantageous for migrant workers). The position of labour migrants has become more diverse in the segmented labour market, although it remains inferior compared to that of the natives. The purpose of this Master's thesis is to develop a context-specific substantive theory of trust building based on the experiences of development workers in Laos, as well as the methods they identify as keys to a better partnership. The research material is based on eleven interviews with civil society development workers in Vientiane, Laos. The study context is partnerships between in-country International Non-Governmental Organizations and local Non-Profit Associations. Abstract The Portuguese Ministry of Health performed five international recruitment rounds of Latin American physicians due to the need for physicians in certain geographic areas of the country and in some specialties, as a temporary solution to shortages. Among these recruitments is that of Colombian physicians in 2011 that was the largest of the five groups. This paper presents an evaluation of the international recruitment procedure of Colombian physicians based on the criteria of procedural outcomes and health system outcomes.
