Die Polymerisation von Acrylnitril mit AgNO3 in Substanz und in Losung wird untersucht. In orientierenden Kinetischen Versuchen wird gefunden, das die Reaktion nach einem radikalischen Mechanismus ablauft; sie wird durch Licht katalysiert. Auserdem wird die Aktivitat einer Reihe anorganischer Salze und organischer Nitratebei der Initiierung der Polymerisation gepruft. Die Reaktionsmoglichkeiten werden diskutiert. Die wahrend der bei 130°C verlaufenden Schmelzkondensation von 2.6-Dihydroxy-methyl-4-methylphenol (I) bestimmten Gewichtsverluste und Mengen von abgespaltenem Formaldehyd waren um so groser, je hoher der analytische Natriumgehalt der Verbindung lag; dieser wurde durch Beimischen des Natriumphenolats von I im Bereich von 0,01 bis 3,0 Gew.-% Natrium eingestellt. The straightforward synthesis of a new donor-stabilized phosphenium ligand 3d by addition of bromodifurylphosphine to 1,3-dimethylimidazolium-2-carboxylate 1 is described. The obtained ligand exhibits a very strong π-acceptor character, comparable to that of triphenyl phosphite [P(OPh) 3 ] or of tris-halogenophosphines, with a v CO (A 1 ) at 2087 cm ―1 for its nickel tricarbonyl complex. This ligand, as well as the related 3a which was obtained from chlorodiphenylphosphine, were tested in palladium-catalyzed aryl alkynylation and in the platinum-catalyzed selective hydrogenation of chloronitrobenzenes, both in an ionic liquid phase. A polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane-imidazolium tetrachloropalladate salt (POSS-Imi-PdCl4) was prepared by the reaction of a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane-imidazolium chloride salt (POSS-Imi-Cl) with PdCl2 and used as a pre-catalyst for the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction in water at 100 °C at a low loading (0.08-0.16 mol %). Biphenyl compounds were isolated in high to excellent yields. A comparison of the POSS-based catalyst with the corresponding catalyst without the nanocage structure (i.e., 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrachloropalladate) highlighted the role of the POSS structure to reach higher yields in the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction. Childhood obesity may be responsible for a major alteration of life quality in children and in future adults. The causes of obesity are multiple and obesity results from a chronic imbalance between food intake and energy expenditure. The challenge is to understand the cause of this imbalance. In the title compound, [FeIII(C48H36N4O2)(H2O)2][K(C12H24O6)(H2O)2](SO3CF3)2·2C12H24O6, the FeIIIatom is situated on an inversion centre and is octahedrally coordinated by four pyrrole N atoms of the deprotenated 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(4-methoxyphenyl)porphyrinate ligand and two water molecules. The average equatorial Fe—N(pyrrole) bond length [2.043 (6) Å] is consistent with a high-spin (S= 5/2) iron(III) metalloporphyrin derivative.
