Determination of albendazole and ivermectin residues in cattle and poultry-derived samples from India by micellar liquid chromatography

We have developed a method, based on micellar liquid chromatography, to determine albendazole and ivermectin in dairy products and biological waste from bovine, as well as edible tissues from poultry. Anthelmitics were resolved in less than 10 min using a C18 column and a mobile phase of 0.15 mol/L sodium dodecyl sulfate – 6% 1-pentanol at buffered at pH 7 with a 0.01 M phosphate salt, running under isocratic mode at 1 mL/min. Detection was by absorbance at 292 nm. Discelectrophoretischer Nachweis der Heterogenität der menschlichen sauren Spermaphosphatase

Zusammenfassung Mit Hilfe der vertikalen Discelektrophorese in Polyacrylamid-Gel ist es moglich, zwei Enzymbanden der sauren Spermaphosphatase nachzuweisen. Eine optimale Trennung ergibt sich bei einer Wasserstoffionenkonzentration von pH 7,5 im Trenn-Gel und pH 5,5 im Sammel-Gel und 0,1 M Acetatpuffer. Der Vorteil dieser Methode liegt in dem relativ geringen apparativen Aufwand, der kurzen Trennzeit, der hohen Trennscharfe sowie der Moglichkeit, aserst geringe Substanzmengen aufzutrennen. An organic/inorganic hybrid salt is obtained by combination of the photochromic nitroprusside complex with the organic donor TTF. The organic part shows an unprecedented 2D organization formed by an orthogonal arrangement of TTF hexamers and monomers. However, the donor layers are formed by pairs of moderately interacting dimeric (TTF)22+ units surrounded by neutral TTF molecules in such a way that the charge is localized and the compound is a semiconductor. Short contacts between the organic layers and the nitroprusside anions are present that may affect the photophysical properties of the nitroprusside.

Polyoctenylenes and polydodecenylenes prepared by the methathesis reaction exhibit a bimodal molecular weight distribution. The low molecular weight fraction consists of cyclic oligomers, the high molecular weight fraction is assumed to contain linear polymers. The distribution of cyclic oligomers together with the polymer material indicates a ring-chain equilibrium. The slope of the plot log Kx (molar cyclization equilibrium constant) vs. log x (degree of polymerization) is close to −2,5 as predicted by the Jacobson and Stockmayer theory for unstrained macrocycles. ChemInform Abstract: Diastereodivergent Synthesis of Fluorinated Cyclic β3-Amino Acid Derivatives.

The ability of 2-p-tolylbenzyl carbanions to behave as a source of chiral benzylic nucleophiles has been shown in its reaction with fluorinated imines. The process takes place with high levels of stereocontrol, rendering the corresponding amines as single diastereoisomers. Subsequent cross-metathesis followed by intramolecular aza-Michael reaction makes the synthesis of fluorinated homoproline derivatives bearing three stereogenic centers possible. Furthermore, the selectivity of the cyclization process can easily be tuned up in a diastereodivergent manner simply by changing the reaction conditions.

ChemInform Abstract: Solution and Fluorous Phase Synthesis of β,β-Difluorinated 1-Amino-1-cyclopentane Carboxylic Acid Derivatives.

An efficient protocol for the preparation of β,β-difluorinated 1-amino-1-cyclopentane carboxylic acid derivatives was developed. 2,2-Difluro-4-phenyl-3-butenoic acid 6 was used as substrate for the preparation of the starting vinyl difluoro imino esters 8. The key steps of this methodology rely on the chemo- and diastereoselective addition of allylzinc bromides over the iminic functionality of 8 and subsequent RCM reaction. This synthetic sequence was successfully applied to fluorous synthesis.
