Main components of the corporative image of cultural organizations

2016

[EN] In the present research, we carry out an analysis of the corporate image of a cultural organization which aims tohighlight its role in order to design management strategies in the cultural field. We investigate what particular attributes are better assessed by the public and which dimensions compose the corporate image of a cultural organization. Based on the literature review, we made an in-depth interview to the programming manager of a cultural organization and also a descriptive survey on its audience through a structured questionnaire. The results of the analyses show that the corporate image of the cultural organization under study is positive, although someattributescan be improv…

INDIVIDUAL FUTURE ORIENTATION AND DEMOGRAPHIC FACTORS PREDICTING LIFE SATISFACTION

2017

This study explored a model of prediction of life satisfaction by individual future orientation (FO) and demographic factors. Individual views of the future and goals are closely associated with well-being. Theories of FO represent different approaches to its conceptualization. Following Seginer (2009), this study presents a combination of motivational, cognitive, and behavioral components of FO. Participants were 130 females and 75 males from 18 to 49. A new measure of individual FO (the Individual Future Orientation Scale, IFOS) and the Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin, 1985) were used for the assessment. The results of structural equation modeling demon…

Measurement invariance of the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) by gender and age in Angola

2015

Abstract Subjective well-being is a research arena that has grown almost exponentially: over the last 20 years, the number of publications on subjective well-being has increased approximately 16-fold (Diener, 2009). The cognitive aspect of subjective well-being or life satisfaction is referred to a conscious cognitive judgment of life (Diener, Emmons, Larsen, & Griffin 1985), in which person’s quality of life is globally assessed (Shin & Johnson, 1978). The Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS, Diener et al., 1985) is the most widely used instrument for its measurement. A reliable, valid and invariant measurement is critical for meaningful comparisons. The aim of this study is to examine the …

The environmental product declaration EPD with a particular application to a solar thermal collector

2003

The principles of sustainable development and of Integrated Product Policy are applied in new voluntary regulations, which have been internationally agree. The aim is to grant transparency of environmental information and to promote the diffusion of environmentally friendly products. A new tool under study is the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), a technical paper annexed to products that synthesises their energy and environmental performances. This paper points out the reasons for developing EPD for the energy sector, and puts special focus upon renewable energy systems, products whose environmental performances are often not clearly defined. We describe how results of a LCA upon a …

Au-delà du Paradigme de "Disconfirmation" des Attentes : Quand le Lien Remplace le Bien

2007

Consumer satisfaction has been labeled a cornerstone of marketing on account of its significant strategic links with the firm's profitability. This paper presents a phenomenological investigation of consumer satisfaction. Our research is aimed at developing a supplementary approach to satisfaction and to compare it with the dominant paradigm so as to propose extensions while showing the limitations of the existing theory. The first section examines the conceptual aspects and the theoretical background of the process of satisfaction. On the basis of our results, the second section confirms that satisfaction could be conceptualized as a dynamic and sequential process. In addition our results …

Farkas-Minkowski systems in semi-infinite programming

1981

The Farkas-Minkowski systems are characterized through a convex cone associated to the system, and some sufficient conditions are given that guarantee the mentioned property. The role of such systems in semi-infinite programming is studied in the linear case by means of the duality, and, in the nonlinear case, in connection with optimality conditions. In the last case the property appears as a constraint qualification.

Work-to-family conflict and its relationship with satisfaction and well-being: a one-year longitudinal study on gender differences

2004

The present study produced new knowledge about gender differences with respect to work-to-family conflict and its longitudinal relations with indicators of satisfaction and well-being. The study examined the longitudinal relations between work-to-family conflict and self-reported satisfaction and well-being in the domains of work (job satisfaction), family (marital satisfaction, parental distress) as well as overall (psychological and physical) symptoms. Data were obtained from a random sample of Finnish men (n=208) and women (n=218) who were employed and had either a partner or/and children. A survey was conducted at two points in time, in 1999 (Time 1), and one year later, in 2000 (Time 2…

BENEFICIOS RELACIONALES, SATISFACCIÓN Y LEALTAD EN EL COMERCIO MINORISTA: UNA COMPARATIVA INTERSECTORIAL / RELATIONSHIP BENEFITS, SATISFACTION, AND L…

2009

Online Sport Event Consumers: Attitude, E-Quality and E- Satisfaction

2017

Sporting events attract millions of dollars in sponsorship and tourism, so a strong event brand is required. The event website quality is responsible for maintaining and attracting consumers and creating a positive attitude towards the brand. The purpose of this study was to examine key variables that affect the behavior of online sport event consumers. Specifically, it explores e-quality and e-satisfaction and how they influence the attitude towards the website and the brand. Structural equation model tests revealed that a positive quality can determine a positive attitude to the web site, even the consumer is not satisfied with it. On the other hand, the stakeholder needs to pay attention…
