Izglītības sistēmas pārmaiņu process tiek veikts, lai uzlabotu mācību iestādē veicamās mācību programmas īstenošanu. Šī procesa rezultātā izglītības iestādes vadītājam jābūt profesionāli kompetentam pārmaiņu ieviešanai skolā. Darba mērķis ir izzināt izglītības iestādes vadītāja profesionālās kompetences pārmaiņu procesa ieviešanā skolās, kurās tiek īstenots lietpratībā balstīts mācību saturs. Climate change in the Arctic is outpacing the global average and land-use is intensifying due to exploitation of previously inaccessible or unprofitable natural resources. Elevated concentrations of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) promote browning of lakes, which alters the physicochemical properties of water and ecosystem functioning. However, browning‐induced changes in basal production of polyunsaturated fatty acids from the n‐3 and n‐6 families (n‐3 and n‐6 PUFA) in lakes are not fully understood. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot sabiedrības un mediju pārstāvju viedokli par maksas saturu digitālajos Latvijas medijos. Teorētiskais ietvars – zināšanu plaisas teorija, lietojuma un apmierinājuma teorija, maksātvēlmes jēdziens. Izveidots pārskats par maksas saturu Latvijas digitālajos medijos. Pētījuma rezultāti iegūti Latvijas iedzīvotāju tiešsaistes aptaujā un intervijās ar mediju pārstāvjiem. Mediju pārstāvji norāda, ka maksas saturs ir nozīmīgs mediju pastāvēšanai nākotnē un finanšu resursu piesaistīšanai. Signs of impaired thiamine (vitamin B1) status in feeding-migrating Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) were studied in three Baltic Sea areas, which differ in the proportion and nutritional composition of prey fish sprat (Sprattus sprattus) and herring (Clupea harengus). The concentration of n−3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n−3 PUFAs) increased in salmon with dietary lipids and n−3 PUFAs, and the hepatic peroxidation product malondialdehyde (MDA) concentration increased exponentially with increasing n−3 PUFA and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA, 22:6n−3) concentration, whereas hepatic total thiamine concentration, a sensitive indicator of thiamine status, decreased with th…
The Effects of Dance Movement Therapy in the Treatment of Depression: A Multicenter, Randomized Controlled Trial in Finland

This multicenter research investigates the effects of dance movement therapy (DMT) on participants diagnosed with depression. In total, 109 persons participated in the study in various locations in Finland. The participants were 39 years old, on average (range = 18–64 years), and most were female (96%). All participants received treatment as usual (TAU). They were randomized into DMT + TAU (n = 52) or TAU only (n = 57). The participants in the DMT + TAU group were offered 20 DMT sessions twice a week for 10 weeks in addition to standard care.
