This qualitative study aims to analyse the worldview that emerges in the textbooks of Turkish imam and preacher high schools (úmam hatip lisesi). The study material consists of eight textbooks that belong to the vocational religious education of Turkish imams. All of the textbooks were published around 2010. In this study, theoretical considerations regarding the essence of worldview (Weltanschauung) are summarized into an existential model of worldview (EKMA). The model provides two viewpoints from which to understand the worldview under study. Głównym celem artykułu jest ukazanie sensowności korelacji lekcji religii z etyką. Pamiętając o tym, że obecnie lekcje etyki w polskiej szkole nie są obligatoryjne, lecz mają charakter zajęć fakultatywnych, wiele uwagi poświęcono potrzebie prowadzenia jej w szkole. Wskazano też na znaczenie lekcji etyki w kształceniu ogólnym każdego ucznia. Zwrócono uwagę na to, że lekcje etyki są źródłem wiedzy o wartościach, normach moralnych, zasadach życia społecznego i indywidualnego oraz odpowiednim miejscem kształtowania postaw społecznych i całościowych oddziaływań w sferze rozwoju osobowego każdego ucznia. Artykuł jest próbą syntetycznego przedstawienia zasadniczych idei, które zostały wyrażone w niemieckich dokumentach katechetycznych ostatniego ćwierćwiecza. Po opublikowaniu w 1997 r. przez Kongregację ds. Duchowieństwa Dyrektorium ogólnego o katechizacji w Niemczech nie pojawiło się narodowe dyrektorium katechetyczne, które uwzględniałoby specyfikę wychowania religijnego w tym kraju i wskazywało zasadnicze kierunki współczesnej katechezy. Vispārējās veselības stāvokļa un nepārtikas paradumu saikne ar kariesa intensitāti pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem Latvijā

Mērķis. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt iespējamo saikni starp pirmsskolas vecuma bērnu vispārējās veselības traucējumiem, mutes veselību ietekmējošiem kaitīgiem paradumiem un kariesa intensitāti. Metodes. Šo šķērsgriezuma pētījumu, kas notika 2017. un 2018.gadā, apstiprināja Latvijas Universitātes Ētikas Komisija. Kopējais dalībnieku skaits bija 158, vecumā starp 2 un 7 gadiem. Rakstiska piekrišana tika saņemta no vecākiem. Bērna vecāki aizpildīja aptaujas. Klīnisko apskati veica trīs zobārsti, kuriem asistēja grupa ar studentiem. Associations between Teacher- and Student-directed Sexual and Physical Violence in Physical Education

This study examined relationships between teachers’ perceptions of verbal and non-verbal sexual harassment and physical violence against teachers and among students in physical education (PE). Participants were 175 (females 122, males 53) Finnish PE teachers between 27 and 62 years (M = 44.8 ± 9.2 years). The cross-sectional data were collected by an anonymous online survey in the fall semester 2018. My research investigates the proposal of the education’s philosopher Aldo Capitini about the nonviolent teaching in the Italian Second Post-War infant and primary school and focuses on the nonviolent educational practices which has been carried out. Especially, Idana Pescioli, a teacher of the primary and infant school, has been the one to experiment new educational methodologies and a nonviolent approach in the schools of children. Aims: Loneliness is an important public health challenge for all ages. This study reports time trends of loneliness among adolescents over a 12-year period and analyses the strength of the associations between loneliness, health complaints, and medicine use. Methods: Data were derived from the cross-sectional Finnish Health Behaviour in School-aged Children study conducted in 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018. The study population is based on a random sample of schools with 20,444 participants aged 11–15 years.
