The basic question I pose in this paper is the following: What language strategies are used by students who find it difficult to reproduce the content required during a secondary school final examination interviews? The text consists of four main parts. Pētījuma mērķis: izpētīt kādas ir augstas klases sportistu mācību organizēšanas iespējas vidējās profesionālajās izglītības iestādēs. En esta investigación se analiza el funcionamiento y la organización de los sistemas de apoyo utilizados en centros de Educación Infantil y Primaria de la Comunidad Valenciana. Planteamos hasta qué punto los sistemas de apoyo en estos centros contribuyen a mejorar la organización de un sistema inclusivo que resulte accesible para todos. Autor odwołuje się w swych rozważaniach do założeń pro-filaktyki pozytywnej, przeciwstawiając ją profilaktyce negatywnej. Zwraca również uwagę na moż-liwe konsekwencje przyjętych przekonań nauczycieli dotyczących zachowania uczniów oraz dzia-łalności profilaktycznej szkoły. Teacher–student relationship and students’ social competence in relation to the quality of educational dialogue

Teacher–student relationship and students’ social competence were investigated in relation to the quality of educational dialogue. The data consisted of 151 video-recorded Grade 2 lessons. The teachers (N = 50) also rated their students’ (N = 664) social competence and the teacher–student relationship. In terms of teacher–student relationships, closeness associated positively while conflict associated negatively with high quality dialogue. Regarding students’ social competence, cooperation skills and empathy linked positively while disruptiveness linked negatively with high quality dialogue. Reciprocal Relationships Between Perceived Supportive School Climate and Self-reported Truancy : A Longitudinal Study from Grade 6 to Grade 9

This longitudinal study of 1,066 Finnish students examined bidirectional reciprocal relationships between changes in perceived supportive school climate and changes in self-reported truancy from the last year of primary school (Grade 6) to the last year of lower secondary school (Grade 9). The results of the random intercept cross-lagged panel model showed, first, that a decrease in positive perceptions of school climate at the previous time point predicted more self-reported truancy at the following time point.
