Application of gas separation membranes to detritiation systems

The use of gas separation membranes in tritium removal systems has been studied to develop a new detritiation process. The main advantage of this new process is to reduce the number and/or the size of equipments in comparison to conventional detritiation systems. The objective of this study is to choose the best suited membrane for this application. The hydrogen or its isotopes recovery performance of several commercial hollow fiber organic membranes has been analyzed thanks to three devices. Susceptibility assessment of areas prone to landsliding remains one of the most useful approaches in landslide hazard analysis. The key point of such analysis is the correlation between the physical phenomenon and its triggering factors based on past observations. Within the invented apparatus stand out the rainfall simulators, which have been used with different objectives since the 30s. Introducción: El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar los indicadores bibliométricos de repercusión de ANALES DE PEDIATRÍA en 2001, y su comparación con otras revistas pediátricas españolas. Material y método: Se analizaron 5.388 referencias bibliográficas de 1999, 2000 y 2001 de artículos citables publicados en 2001 en una selección de 87 revistas médicas españolas. Los indicadores obtenidos fueron el número de citas, el factor de impacto nacional e internacional y el índice de inmediatez. Resultados: ANALES DE PEDIATRÍA ha obtenido un factor de impacto nacional de 0,334 y un factor de impacto internacional de 0,372. El índice de inmediatez fue de 0,111. [Background and objectives]: The aim of this paper is to analyse the scientific research on multiple sclerosis using a bibliographic analysis of articles published during the period 2003-2012. [Methods]: The items under study were obtained from the Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-E) database, which was accessed through the Web of Science (WOS) platform. All records with the term multiple sclerosis in the title, plus all articles published in the journals Multiple Sclerosis and Multiple Sclerosis Journal, were analysed. Features of the in-situ experiments on studying of tritium release from lithium ceramic Li2TiO3 using vacuum extraction method

Abstract The paper presents the results of reactor experiments with lithium ceramic Li2TiO3 performed at the WWR-K research reactor (Almaty, Kazakhstan). A qualitative analysis of the experimental results is presented. The following general results are obtained from the experiments performed by the vacuum extraction method: • Almost no tritium is released in the form of tritium water vapor, and the processes associated with tritium interaction with water vapor can be excluded from the consideration; • a significant amount of tritium is released as T2 molecule; • in long-term irradiation, a significant growth of tritium release in the form of T2 molecule with the time of irradiation is obser…
