Latvijas Universitātes publikācijas citējamības datubāzēs (2007-2011)

2012

Sākot ar 2012. gadu Latvijas Universitātei (LU) ir pieejamas divas nozīmīgākās citējamības datubāzes - Web of Science un Scopus, kas ļauj analizēt LU personāla publikāciju citējamību. Publikāciju skaits citējamības datubāzēs ir viens no augstskolas kvalitātes un atpazīstamības rādītājiem. Publikācijas atrašanās citējamības datubāzē raksturo arī tās zinātnisko kvalitāti. Citēšana tiek uzskatīta par publikācijas zinātniskā nozīmīguma rādītāju un citējumi norāda uz autora ieguldījumu zinātnes nozares attīstībā. Pētījumā ir raksturota LU personāla publikāciju un citējumu skaita dinamika pēdējos piecos gados Web of Science un Scopus datubāzēs.

To what extent is the likelihood that a Technology-Based Firm – TBF – turns into a Technology-Based and Highly Innovative Firm – TB&InnF – is influenced by technical capabilities or managerial capabilities and education background? We analyse this question using a novel data panel assembled for 326 Spanish industrial firms, along the period 1998–2014. Our findings show the probability of becoming a TB&InnF growths when firms are able to accumulate a high endowment of knowledge and technological capabilities, and a managerial team with experience, a strong power position and previous technical or managerial education background. La investigación cualitativa en las revistas españolas de ciencias del deporte (2007-2011)

El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el estado de la investigación cualitativa en las ciencias de la actividad física y del deporte en España, a partir del análisis de 1057 artículos publicados entre 2007 y 2011 en revistas españolas del campo indexadas en Scopus. Los resultados indican que sólo el 3.5% de los trabajos recurre a la metodología cualitativa y que en su mayor parte utilizan la entrevista como técnica de recogida de datos.
