An Ethical Investments Evaluation for Portfolio Selection

2004

The Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) is an assets allocation, whose aim is to maximize not only the portfolio expected return but the benefits for a consumer who as a whole operates according to the ethical principles. The wealth of a market economy is to cross the different ethical identities of families, of enterprises, of banks, in order to improve the allocation of the resources for a sustainable development. In this paper, we aim at describing the portfolio selection realized on the basis of the ethical principles - positive /negative, inclusionary/exclusionary - of an investor. The first part of this paper describes Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) and ethical funds market in …

Multidimensional instruments with an integral approach to identify frailty in community-dwelling people: protocol for a systematic psychometric review

2019

IntroductionAn increasing number of investigations highlight the complex nature of frailty; therefore, the use of multidimensional assessment instruments could be useful in clinical decision-making. Frail people are found mainly in the community setting which is why this is the ideal environment for early screening and intervention. For this purpose, it is necessary to have valid, time-effective and easy-to-use frailty assessment instruments. The aim of this review is to critically appraise, compare and summarise the quality of the measurement properties of all multidimensional instruments with an integral approach to identify frailty in community-dwelling people. Methods and analysisMedline…

Sosiaalinen media - mahdollisuudet ja haasteet rekrytoinnissa

2018

Colonoscopic screening of first-degree relatives of patients with large adenomas: increased risk of colorectal tumors.

2007

International audience; Background & Aims: The risk of developing colorectal neoplasia is not well established among family members of individuals with large adenomas and screening strategies remain under debate in this population. This study aimed at quantifying the risk of colorectal adenomas and cancers using colonoscopic screening in first-degree relatives of patients with large adenomas. Methods: This case-control study was performed in 18 endoscopic units of French non-University Hospitals. A colonoscopy was offered to first-degree relatives of 306 index cases with adenomas ≥ 10 mm, if they were alive, aged 40-75 and could be contacted by the index case. Among 674 relatives meeting th…

Development of Bioimage Analysis tools for the study of neurogenesis and neurodegeneration

2021
