The thesis focuses on the main international legal aspects of the annexation by one State, namely the Russian Federation, of a part of another sovereign State, Ukraine. The annexation of the Crimean Peninsula is the first forced border shift of a State in Europe. The invading State justifies these actions by referring to the ethnic and historical ties between Russia and Crimea, basing its aggression on the right of peoples to self-determination. The purpose of the present experiment was to investigate whether the motivational climates (MCs) drawn from achievement goal and self-determination theories would affect perceived competence and the use of claimed self-handicapping. Specifically, this study examined the effects of performance MC, mastery MC and need-supportive MC on these two variables. In the context of high school physical education, 37 participants had the opportunity to claim handicaps before performing an isometric resistance task in a given MC. The psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the Sport Climate Questionnaire (S-SCQ) (SDT, Sport Climate Questionnaire, n.d.) were determined from a sample of 301 Spanish high-level competitive athletes (171 men and 130 women) from the Community of Valencia. The S-SCQ assesses athletes' perceptions of coach-provided autonomy support. The assumed uni-dimensional structure of both the long and short versions of the instrument was supported. Both versions also exhibited high reliability (internal consistency). From service quality in organisations to self-determination at home

Background In our proposed model, family members' perceptions of service quality in organisations improve communication about self-determination. In turn, family perceptions of communication openness have a positive relationship with self-determination attitudes of family members. Finally, these attitudes predict self-determination behaviours of individuals with intellectual disability, as reported by family members. Method We tested this model with a sample of 625 family members (196 using ‘day care services’ and 429 using ‘occupational services’). The research analyzes the recent Italian draft laws on Medical Assistance in dying, their strengths and several shortcomings, comparing them with other European laws on this subject. Conscientiousness, self‐determination, and satisfaction in soccer academies: A longitudinal perspective

Abstract The aim of this study was to evaluate from a longitudinal perspective the relationships between conscientiousness, soccer and school self‐determination, and satisfaction in soccer academies. Newly recruited French soccer athletes responded to satisfaction and self‐determination measures three times, once every four months, and to conscientiousness measure in Time 2. Results showed that soccer self‐determination of trainees decreased and that its relationship with satisfaction was stronger over time. En el marco de la Teoria de la Autodeterminacion (Deci y Ryan, 1985; 2000), se estudiaron los predictores socio-contextuales y motivacionales de la intencion de seguir practicando danza, y el papel del burnout en estas relaciones, poniendo a prueba dos modelos de ecuaciones estructurales. Izvirzīto uzdevumu ietvaros tika sniegts ieskats par to, kas ir e-sports, kāda ir līdzjušanas pieredze e-sportā, un e-sporta līdzjutēju sociālais un demogrāfiskais profils. Tika apskatīti iepriekš veiktie pētījumi, kuri sniedza ieskatu par to, kādi motivācijas faktori ietekmē līdzjušanu ārzemju respondentu vidū.
