Aḥmad Bašīr al-‘Aylah is one of the most prolific and versatile authors of Contemporary Palestinian literary landscape. Munā al-Šammarī is a Kuwaiti short story writer, novelist, screenwriter and journalist born in Kuwait in 1966. Her first collection of stories, entitled Yasquṭ al-maṭar… tamūt al-amīrah (The rain falls… the princess dies) and published in 2012 describes the anxieties and worries of the inhabitants of Fahaheel (Faḥīḥīl), the small town located in southern Kuwait, where the writer was born and lived her childhood and adolescence and forged her identity. This study focuses, from a short story of the blood libel of Saint Dominguito de Val, on answering the questions of when and why the ?tradition? was made about this saint, and the specific moments of his Revitalization until the end of the 17th century. Although the short story of the death of this infant has been occupied by the most diverse writers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, we take as reference the master Espés and the chroniclers Blancas, Andrés de Uztarroz and Dormer.

This article seeks to answer the question, 'What is the value of plurilingualism'? by first of all exploring some different terms from Finnish and English that suggest different ways of understanding the world. The article then goes on to outline the importance of mother tongues as a way of rooting a child into a culture, whilst plurilingualism provides the child with different ways of understanding the world. The second half of the article uses a story to explore the challenges of sharing different understandings with others and outlines how these ideas can be introduced to children. nonPeerReviewed

Dans cet article, j'essaie de donner sens à la polysémie du procédé de déplacement dont la Marraine du sel est le cadre : déplacements (décentrements) spatiaux, déplacements (refoulements et retours) dans le passé, jeux de rôles entre les personnages (sujets), déplacement analytique. L'ensemble de ces techniques qui contribuent à l'humour du texte me permet de le lire comme une forme actualisée au xxe siècle du genre de la diabolique, de l'histoire tragique de ce temps, la forme à travers laquelle Fourré répond à sa manière à l'injonction surréaliste de saisir le contenu latent d'une époque.
