In this work we study the impact of relinquishment and the adoption process in posttraumatic symptoms in a group of 55 adults that were adopted as children before 1970. The effects of institutionalization, maltreatment, traumatic revelation of the adopted status and stressful life events have also been studied. No significant differences were found between institutionalized and non-institutionalized adoptees in posttraumatic symptomatology. Aims: The role of non‐invasive telemedicine (TM) combining telemonitoring and teleintervention by videoconference (VC) in patients recently admitted due to heart failure (HF) (‘vulnerable phase’ HF patients) is not well established. Las enteroparasitosis afectan a la estructura y ambiente intestinal generando sintomatología en pacientes susceptibles. Éstas podrían llegar a desencadenar, agravar o confundirse con Trastornos Gastrointestinales Crónicos (TGC), cada vez más frecuentes en la población. En el presente estudio, se analiza la prevalencia de parásitos intestinales en 295 pacientes con TGC y/o sintomatología mediante la combinación de métodos diagnósticos. Giardia intestinalis fue el parásito más prevalente (61,7%), seguido de Blastocystis sp. (13,2%), con una prevalencia de parasitación general del 67%. Se incluye un primer estudio en el que se realizó una revisión sistemática de la investigación actual sobre las intervenciones basadas en mindfulness (IBM) aplicadas a psicoterapeutas, y su influencia en la empatía, la alianza terapéutica y la sintomatología de los pacientes.
