Tutkielmassa selvitetään kolmen eri määritelmän mukaiset palvelukeskeisen arkkitehtuurin perusperiaatteet. Human-centered design methods should be implemented throughout the client information system (CIS) development process to understand social welfare professionals’ needs, tasks, and contexts of use. The aim of this study was to examine Finnish social welfare professionals’ experiences of participating in CIS development. A national cross-sectional web-based survey on the CIS experiences of social welfare professionals (1145 respondents) was conducted in Finland in spring 2019. Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based couple therapy, views emotion as being central to the process of therapeutic change. As affect arousal of emotion is a somatic reaction, the purpose of this study was to focus on therapists’ interventions classified as noting and commenting on clients’ somatic cue of emotional experience, such as their facial expression or posture, in relation to depth of emotional experiencing demonstrated by clients in EFT couple therapy sessions. Viestintää käyttäjälähtöisissä innovaatioissa on tutkittu varsin vähän. Tässä pro gradu -työssä tarkasteltiin, millaisia tehtäviä viestinnällä on käyttäjien osallistamisessa innovaatioprosesseihin ja millaisin perustein viestinnän menetelmät osallistamisessa valitaan. Tutkimuksen kohteena oli kahdeksan kuntaa ja tutkimusmenetelmänä käytettiin teemahaastatteluja, jotka toteutettiin pääosin puhelimitse helmi-maaliskuussa 2014. Haastateltavina oli yksitoista kuntien käyttäjälähtöisissä innovaatioprosesseissa vaikuttanutta viranhaltijaa. Kerätty aineisto analysoitiin teemoittelemalla.
