Developmental pathways of language development : a longitudinal predictive study from prelinguistic stage to outcome at school entry

This research focused on the pathways of development during the prelinguistic stage and from prelinguistic development to later language ability. The first goal was to follow and describe the development of several prelinguistic communication skills during the first two years of life (Studies I and II). Terveydenhoitoalan henkilöstön kansainvälinen rekrytointi ja kielitaito ovat herättäneet paljon julkista keskustelua. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastellaan kansainvälistä työvoimaa – etenkin filippiiniläisiä hoitajia – ympäröiviä käsityksiä. Teoreettinen lähestymistapa pohjautuu dialogisuuteen ja sosiokulttuurisuuteen, joissa kieli ja käsitykset nähdään jaettuina, varioivina ja dynaamisina ilmiöinä. Uzdevumos balstīta prezentācijas prasmju pilnveide augstskolā

Mūsdienās prezentēšanas prasmes ir kļuvušas par aktuālu tematu. Prasme prezentēt auditorijas priekšā augstskolās ietekmē ne tikai personīgo izaugsmi, bet arī karjeru nākotnē. Lai sniegtu pārliecinošu prezentāciju, prezentētājam būtu jāzin pārliecināšanas paņēmieni. Maģistra darba mērķis bija izpētīt prezentācijas prasmju pilnveidi augstkolās, koncentrējoties uz uzdevumiem, kas aptver konkrētus pārliecināšanas paņēmienus. Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka studenti apzinās konkrētu pārliecināšanas paņēmienu nozīmi, bet ir piesardzīgi to lietojumā sniedzot prezentāciju, kas var tikt pamatots ar zemu angļu valodas prasmi.
