Expansion of CAG repeats is a common feature of various neurodegenerative disorders, including Huntington's disease. Here we show that expanded CAG repeats bind to a translation regulatory protein complex containing MID1, protein phosphatase 2A and 40S ribosomal S6 kinase. Binding of the MID1-protein phosphatase 2A protein complex increases with CAG repeat size and stimulates translation of the CAG repeat expansion containing messenger RNA in a MID1-, protein phosphatase 2A- and mammalian target of rapamycin-dependent manner. Mixtures composed of water, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), and a bolaform surfactant with two aza-crown ethers as polar headgroups (termed Bola C-16) were investigated by modulating the mole ratios between the components. The two surfactants have ionic and nonionic, but ionizable, headgroups, respectively. The ionization is due to the complexation of alkali ions by the aza-crown ether unit(s). Structural, thermodynamic, and transport properties of the above mixtures were investigated. Kandidaatintutkielma käsittelee mobiilipankkipalveluita tarkastellen käsitteen merkitystä nykykontekstissa sekä mobiilipankkipalveluiden käyttöön vaikuttavia tekijöitä. Tutkielma toteutettiin kirjallisuuskatsauksena alan kirjallisuuteen, jota haettiin Google Scholar -palvelusta. Tutkielmassa perehdytään mobiilipankkipalveluihin ja samalla myös syvennytään Suomen mobiilipankkitilanteeseen sekä alan tulevaisuuden haasteisiin.
