En este trabajo se reflexiona sobre el tipo de sujetos implícitos en psicoterapia cognitiva. El modelo cognitivo de Beck, al que podemos considerar como un modelo racionalista y modernista, ejemplificará estos sujetos. En primer lugar, debemos situar a la terapia cognitiva en un contexto histórico y relacionarla con un sujeto caracterizado por poseer racionalidad y la habilidad para observar y detectar cogniciones, emociones y conductas. We constructed a food-based diet quality score (DQS) and examined its association with obesity measures, eating styles and nutrient intakes. Participants were 3592 individuals (764 dizygotic [DZ] and 430 monozygotic [MZ] twin pairs) from the FinnTwin16 study. The DQS (0–12 points) was constructed from a short 14 item food frequency questionnaire. Anthropometric measures and eating styles were self-reported. Nutrient intakes were calculated from food diaries completed in a subsample of 249 individuals (45 same-sex DZ and 60 MZ twin pairs). Twins were analyzed both as individuals and as twin pairs. Global changes promote the spread of infectious diseases worldwide. In this context, tropical urogenital schistosomiasis is now permanently established in Corsica since its first emergence in 2013. The local persistence of the tropical pathogens (schistosomes) responsible for urogenital schistosomiasis at such latitudes might be explained by (i) the presence of its intermediate host, the snail Bulinus truncatus, (ii) the recurrent local reseeding of schistosomes by their vertebrate hosts (either human or animal) every summer, and/or (iii) the maintenance and survival of schistosomes within their snail hosts over winter. However, the massive capture caused the overexploitation and placed many reptiles and amphibious on the verge of extinction. Maģistra darbs veltīts 2. tipa cukura diabēta ģenētisko cēloņu izpētei Latvijas populācijā, kā arī automatizētas visa genoma asociācijas pētījumu darbplūsmas programmas izveidei. Darba ietvaros noskaidroti četri Latvijā bieži sastopami viena nukleotīda polimorfismi, kas būtiski asociēti ar 2. tipa cukura diabēta risku. Trīs no tiem atrodas gēnos LOC105370658, STK39 un BTNL2, kas ekspresējas un ir nozīmīgi aizkuņģa dziedzera insulīnu sekretējošo beta šūnu darbībā. Apvienojot 41 polimorfismu poligēnā riska modelī (PRS), izskaidroti 11% no slimības variācijas ar AUC 0.69. Cilvēkiem ar augstāko noteikto PRS ir 2.8 reizes palielināts 2. tipa diabēta risks, salīdzinot ar vidējo. Papildus tam, Lat…
