IDPlanT: the Italian database of plant translocation

IDPlanT is the Italian Database of Plant Translocation, an initiative of the Nature Conservation Working Group of the Italian Botanical Society. IDPlanT currently includes 185 plant translocations. The establishment of a national database on plant translocation is a key step forward in data sharing and techniques improvement in this field of plant conservation. Bending Work Time: Curvilinear Relationship Between Working Time Dimensions and Psychological and Somatic Symptoms.

Objectives Study examines the curvilinear associations of working time dimensions (working hours, time pressure, work schedules, and control of work time and pace) on psychological and somatic symptoms. Methods Representative Finnish Quality-of-Work-Life Surveys conducted in 2003, 2008 and 2013 were restricted to those (N=11,165) regularly working over 10h/week with more than one-year tenure in their job. Generalised additive models were utilised in analysis. Results Working hours had U-shaped relationships with psychosomatic symptoms, while time pressure had a threshold effect. Pielīdzināto grupu rezultāti bezdarbnieku (n=31) un strādajošo (n=31) grupā neparādīja statisktiski nozīmīgas atšķirības emocionālo un uzvedības problēmu rādītājos (Ahenbaha Pieaugušo emocionālās un uzvedības problēmu aptauja (Achenbach & Rescorla, 2003, adaptācija Latvijā- Amoliņa 2010), kā arī vairumā nodarbinātības spējas faktoru rādītājos. Abstract Background In contrast to earlier assumptions, there is now mounting evidence for the role of tundra soils as important sources of the greenhouse gas nitrous oxide (N2O). However, the microorganisms involved in the cycling of N2O in this system remain largely uncharacterized. Since tundra soils are variable sources and sinks of N2O, we aimed at investigating differences in community structure across different soil ecosystems in the tundra.
