Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a progressive neurological disease that leads to significant disability and can affect health related quality of life. Social support may be one of the predictors of quality of life in MS. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between disability associated with the course of multiple sclerosis, social support and quality of life. 137 people diagnosed with MS participated in the study. An international reaction was required to the financial scandals of recent years, and some States started to reform corporate governance. Two main systems were used – self-regulation through good governance codes, and legislative measures to achieve transparency in financial markets. The principle of transparency is based on two premises – corporate governance and business information in the framework of new technologies. This study analyses the enforcement of the new Spanish legislation on transparency in credit cooperatives from a dual perspective – that of organisational structure, and members’ rights to information and the use of new technologies.

This paper aims to present a new analysis framework for assessing disparities among regions (or countries). It combines both economic and social variables, where the economic attributes refer in particular to marked differences in consumption variables. W czasach nieustannie zmieniającej się współczesnej rzeczywistości społeczno-gospodarczej wiele osób boryka się z różnorodnymi problemami życiowymi, a w szczególnie trudnej sytuacji znajdują się osoby z niepełnosprawnością oraz ich rodziny. W artykule ukazane zostały zarówno problemy życiowe osób z niepełnosprawnością i ich rodzin, jak też szczegółowo omówione kompetencje pracownika socjalnego w zakresie pomocy i wsparcia w przezwyciężaniu tych problemów i podwyższaniu poziomu jakości życia osób niepełnosprawnych.
Fiksācijas disparitāte dažādu kontrastu apstākļos

Bakalaura darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 35 lapaspusēm. Satur 12 attēlus, 2 tabulas, 1 pielikumu un 42 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis bija izvērtēt kontrasta ietekmi uz fiksācijas disparitāti. Pētījumā piedalījās 10 dalībnieki vecumā 21-24 gadi. Darba metodes pamatā bija objektīvā fiksācijas disparitātes noteikšana, izmantojot acu kustību pieraksta iekārtu IviewX Hi-Speed. Pētījumā tika noskaidrots, ka pozitīva kontrasta gadījumā, fiksācijas disparitāte kļuva vairāk nekrustota un acs zīlītes paplašinājās. Samazinot stimula kontrastu, tendence bija novērojama tikai zemu kontrastu gadījumā, kad fiksācijas disparitāte kļuva mazāk nekrustota un acs zīlītes sašaurinājās.

Drivers have spare visual capacity in driving, and often this capacity is used for engaging in secondary in-car tasks. Previous research has suggested that the spare visual capacity could be estimated with the occlusion method. However, the relationship between drivers’ occlusion times and in-car glance duration preferences has not been sufficiently investigated for granting occlusion times the role of an estimate of spare visual capacity.
