Evaluation of a Chemistry Concept Inventory for general chemistry students at Finnish university

A chemistry concept inventory (Chemical Concept Inventory 3.0/CCI 3.0), previously developed for use
 in Norwegian universities, was tested and evaluated for use in a Finnish university setting. The test,
 designed to evaluate student knowledge and learning of chemistry concepts, was administered as both
 pre- and posttest in first year general chemistry courses at the University of Jyväskylä. The results were
 evaluated using different statistical tests, focusing both on individual item analysis and the entire test.

Artikkelen presenterer en mikro-etnografisk undersøkelse av barns forhold til tingene i to småbarnsavdelinger i norske barnehager. Hensikten er å forstå hvordan barns relasjoner til ting virker inn på deres mulighet til deltagelse og sosial posisjonering i gruppen. Undersøkelsen er basert på Aktør-Nettverk-Teori som vektlegger tingenes betydning som agens i sosiale nettverk og tingenes funksjon som forlengelse av barnas kropper. Este texto muestra un estudio de casos de dos alumnos escolarizados en el aula de Comunicación y Lenguaje de un colegio valenciano. El objetivo principal se centra en conocer la situación de inclusión educativa de estos alumnos. Para llevarlo a cabo, se ha recogido una serie de datos utilizando hojas de registro de observaciones, entrevistas, encuestas, conversaciones informales y un diario de campo que han permitido realizar un análisis cualitativo de los mismos. El saber histórico tiene gran potencial crítico y permite adquirir criterios para actuar democráticamente. Se emplearán entrevistas semiestructuradas a dos docentes y cuestionarios y narrativas a su alumnado de 1.º y 4.º ESO.
