Aim: Assessing the performances of different sampling approaches for documenting community diversity may help to identify optimal sampling efforts and strategies, and to enhance conservation and monitoring planning. Here, we used two data sets based on probabilistic and preferential sampling schemes of Italian forest vegetation to analyze the multifaceted performances of the two approaches across three major forest types at a large scale. Procambarus clarkii è un animale d’acqua dolce originario del Centro-Sud degli Stati Uniti e del Nord-Est del Messico. Questa specie rientra nella lista delle 100 specie invasive più pericolose al mondo (Delivering Alien Invasive Species Inventories for Europe) in quanto presenta una serie di caratteristiche biologiche, che la rendono una minaccia per la biodiversità. Le specie arboree esotiche invasive non di rado rappresentano una quota significativa della composizione dendrologica dei boschi di neoformazione e preoccupano per gli impatti che possono causare sulla biodiversità. Recentemente, il timore riguarda i possibili effetti causati agli ecosistemi boschivi: infatti, gli ecosistemi forestali e quelli a essi contigui, come pascoli e prati permanenti, apparentemente più resilienti rispetto ad altri tipi di ecosistemi, ne subiscono l'aggressività in modo significativo e, anche in forza di provvedimenti legislativi, la pianificazione e gestione silvopastorale è chiamata a prestare sempre più attenzione a questo tema.

The aim of the present study was to analyze the growth and physiological performance of two coexisting species, Trifolium fragiferum, and Trifolium repens, under the effect of NaCl and rhizobial symbiosis. Seeds of T. fragiferum and T. repens were collected from populations in the wild, and plants were cultivated in an automated greenhouse, two plants per container.
