The fragmentation reactions induced by electron impact of eighteen title compounds has been investigated with the aid of low beam energy spectra (14 eV, nom. value), metastable ion detection, high resolution measurements and labelling experiments. The loss of the 4-carbonyl oxygen together with the 3-substituent, which constitutes a characteristic fragmentation route of 3-aryl and 3-heteroaromatic substituted-4(3H)-quinazolinones, is again observed, but the presence of a carboxyethyl group at the 4′-position of the pyrazole ring is responsible of an anomalous loss of 47 daltons from the molecular ion. Die Reaktion von 1,4-Bis(1-phenylvinyl)benzol (1) mit Lithium in THF, die vorwiegend zu einem dimeren α,ω-Dien-dianion 3 fuhrt, wird diskutiert. Die durch Umsetzung des Dianions 3 mit Methanol, Kohlendioxid und Methyljodid erhaltenen Reaktionsprodukte 4, 6 und 7 werden durch ihre IR-, NMR- und Massenspektren charakterisiert. The reaction of 1,4-bis(1-phenylvinyl)benzene (1) with lithium in THF yielding predomaintly the dimeric α,ω-diene dianion 3 is discussed. The products 4, 6, and 7 resulting from the reaction of the dianion 3 with methanol, carbon dioxide and methyl iodide are characterized by IR, NMR and mass spectra.

Die Reaktionsprodukte werden durch GPC, NMR- und Massenspektren charakterisiert. The reactions of 1,4-diphenyl-1,4-bis[4-(1-phenylvinyl)phenyl]butane (1)—the protonized dimer of 1,4-bis(1-phenylvinyl)benzene (2)—with sodium in THF is described and discussed. The reaction products are characterized by GPC, NMR, and mass spectra.

Abstract The first examples of compounds R1R2GeSe2C6H4R3 (R1,R2=CH3 C2H5, C3H2, n-C4H9, i-C5H11, Ph, p-CH3Ph. R3=H, CH3, OCH3) were easily obtained (40–80% yield) from electrophilic cleavage of diselenophenylene zirconocenes by dialkyl or diaryl dichlorogermanes. The synthesis of a spirodi-selenagermole was achieved in the same way using germanium tetrachloride. Analytical data, 1H and 77Se NMR. mass spectra are perfectly consistent with the expected structures.

It is important to look at how education materials for students with disability view disability itself. Raising the general public's awareness on autism is crucial because of the rise in the antivaxx and anti-science movements, particularly in the United States. This thesis utilizes Content Analysis to explore how a set of teaching materials for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) understands ASD and the agency of the ASD child and creates trust with the readers. I analyze two argumentation styles to understand how those forms of argumentation create trust with the readers. Upper limits on the isotropic gravitational-wave background from Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo's third observing run

We report results of a search for an isotropic gravitational-wave background (GWB) using data from Advanced LIGO's and Advanced Virgo's third observing run (O3) combined with upper limits from the earlier O1 and O2 runs. Unlike in previous observing runs in the advanced detector era, we include Virgo in the search for the GWB. The results are consistent with uncorrelated noise, and therefore we place upper limits on the strength of the GWB. We find that the dimensionless energy density $\Omega_{\rm GW}\leq 5.8\times 10^{-9}$ at the 95% credible level for a flat (frequency-independent) GWB, using a prior which is uniform in the log of the strength of the GWB, with 99% of the sensitivity comi…

Maģistra darbs koncentrējas uz dažādu attīstības un lingvistisko īpatnību jautājumu iekļaujošās izglītības vidē. Pētījums fokusēts uz 14 gadus veca zēna, kuram kā diagnoze noteikti autiskā spektra traucējumi (Aspergera sindroms) un kurš ir audzis un ticis izglītots bilingvālā vidē. Galvenais mērķis bija izpētīt bilingvālisma un Aspergera sindroma kognitīvos un uzvedības aspektus pamatfunkciju izpildē. Pētījumā izmantota paralēlā jauktā metode – trīs dažādi standartizēti testi papildus trim daļēji strukturētām intervijām.
